Happy new year and welcome, nice car sounds like a decent price you could spend eight times as much as that and not get as much pleasure and sattisfaction of ownership as you will do with a soop. As for the air con they do have a low pressure cut out on them to stop damage to the compressor i had to recharge mine when i got it cheap enough to do usually costs between 50 and 65 quid. happy motoring.

I cant say that it made a huge difference to be honest sound wise but i think a lot of it is going to be to do with your backbox i use a super dragger and it its not that loud but the performance gains will more than make up for it and if your missus complains hit the loud pedal each time, lol she will soon learn happy bpuing, believe it will be worth the earache. You will fall in love with the soop again lol.

Hi when i was going bpu it was recommended to me to get egt gauge as it is a good indicator that everything is fine on the combustion side of things. I use the defi bf series of gauges egt,boost, as they work really well and look damn bling plus theyre quite reasonable to, now come down a lot in price. That re opens the old debate which fuel is really best if any, interesting reading though in this months evo magazine they have carried out a dedicated fuel test comparing different brands on a rolling road using a golf gti and the new b*w m5 different fuels had a big effect on the gti but virtually negligible on the m5 with bp ultimate having the biggest hp gains on the gti.
