Try entering your details on www.confused.com They querie something like 94% of the UK insurers, apparently. I'm 29 with 5 years no claims bonus and got a quote for £480 fully comp on my 1995 UK Twin Turbo, obviously my age helped but its worth a shot. This was through Bell Direct, who I believe are part of the Admiral group.

Sweet car buddy! Picked up my silver UK TT about two weeks ago, already waxed it twice and now have permanently wringled hands from washing it so much. Slightly off topic I'm atempting to source some pop up headlight washers to replace the dildo style ones, had a look at some cool looking ones from the VW Tourag 4X4. Gonna have a look around at alternatives and costs. If anyone else is interested I can put together a step by step guide and costing/sourcing. If theres not much interest I probably won't bother with the guide.

If there were any advantage don't you think Brembo and AP may have designed a similar disc? As for the looks.....

Sounds to me like your only option is to cook them, I've never done it myself (have UK spec car/glass headlights) but have friends state side that have. Its apparently very easy to do and the results are really good. If you haver the patience you can even de-line them. This link might help you out. How to clean your headlights This doesn't show how to de-line them, but there is info out there if you have the time to search. I don't know wether this will cause the headlights to fail an MOT, the lines are only infront of the fog lights, so might be ok but I wouldn't take the risk.
