maybe the live wire is shorting out somewhere inside the wing. Did you tape up the ends of the wires not used? -

Thanks bud. White seems to age well. Most people (unfamiliar with Supras) are surprised when I say its a 93 car. Mind you, I think I've crawled more miles than my supra has covered in the past few years.
