Agree, not 100% historically correct and with some glitches. I noticed a few times the guy firing the M2 Machine Gun keeped picking it up by the barrel and moving position. Not a good idea without asbestos gloves. Didn't seem to bother him tho My favitote part is when they ride into that villege ontop of the British tanks unawhere of the awaiting Tiger and Panzer Tanks. That is just sooooo dramatic. I too would have loved to experienced WWII first hand. I can guarantee you I would have sh1t my pants at the first sign of action, but what a story! We should all be grateful and remember those who didn't make it home on all sides!

Ever since I watched the series on the BBC I have wanted to own the complete boxset, and what better way to spend a rainy saturday than to watch part 1 to 8 of this fantastic mini-series. WOW!! Probably the best thing I have seen on TV for along while. Really enjoying it. Simply stunning and highly recommended work by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg.
