  1. One step ahead of you carl0s Already done and in my watched items. Thanks mate.
  2. Thats odd as all my Esky helicopters are 35Mhz range. I don't really know all the technicalities and the legal side but I really wouldnt worry to much. Send the seller an e-mail and maybe ask the same question on some of the heli forums and see what they say. I would imagine the worst case scenario is the seller send you a new TX and RX unit. Can't see why you cant practice in the mean time.
  3. Sounds good. That big factory with the Toyota logo would make a great backdrop to a photoshoot
  4. WOOHOO!!! ITS WORKING!!! Just the keys to sort now. Thank you mate
  5. He was standing by me when I let go of the 'yellow pages' book Dead man walking here
  6. well,... its been nice knowing you all. good-bye and farewell my friends
  7. I borrowed my old man's laptop to do some video work. He's a local Parish Counciler and uses his PC all day every day. I just dropped the local telephone directory onto it from a shelf and now it doest start up Not only that, some of the keys have snapped off. Assuming I can live for a few more hours and get the thing started, can you buy the keys separately? Its a Toshiba Satellite 1800 laptop
  8. Glad your happy with it. btw: Dont run the Lipo down to flat (When it starts to loose power stop) and let them cool down before recharging and again, after charging. The tail wobble just needs the 'gain' ajusting by a very small amount.
  9. I'd lend you some of my prick stick but I just used the last few drops doing that picture
  10. What kinda sick f*k do you take me for?
  11. She wouldn't be the first hold on!,.. errr,... Actually,... she would
  12. Buzzflyer.com and Heliguy.com (both uk) sell the mini cameras. Good luck. Be warned!!!! Its a very addictive hobby once you get the bug.
  13. LOL! @ this thread :) Girl Racer, my legs are like white hairy stumps You sure that was me?
  14. When and where did you order it from mate. Waiting on a new Belt CP myself from Honky Konky land. From what I was told, stocks are low due to Christmas. Shouldn't be too long now Mine's got a colour video camera for spying on next door at shower time. Regarding tips. Practice, practice, practice. It took me a good few weeks just to bounce around without crashing. If I can do it, a blind man with no arms can. You Tube has some good vids and forums like Heliguy and RCGroups, com have lots of hits and tips. btw: Its all in the set-up. Just because it says RTF doesnt meen its set-up perfectly.
  15. Andyou, Yep, tried that idea mate. Both my camcorders wont record from another device. Bignum, I too think this is the way to go. Was looking at the Archos AV500 or AV504 units. Both look good but I can't be sure if they will record from AV to hardisk. The pnly info I can find on the net says "record TV with the dock" which is no good out in the flying feilds.
  16. Cheers Greg. I really appreciate that bud. The only problem is, I'm without a desktop PC at home. I could borrow a PC but logistically its a pain, so before I take you up on that very kind offer Im going to explore the possibilities of DVD burning on portable players first. IF not, I'll let you know. Thanks again Greg.
  17. Looking for a portable DVD player that can also record (Burn) to DVD at the same time. I'm well into RC heli's at moment and just ordered a model with a built in colour AV (Radio) video camera. What I need is a way to record the video onto a PC or Mac. (I dont have iSight on the Macs) Getting the video to VHS is easy as the phono cable plugs into any video recorder/TV via the Scart or AV in ports, but I want the footage on a PC to edit. Another problem is I don't want to carry a PC, TV, Video and power generator every time I want to capture video. What would be ideal is a portable DVD player with AV in (which most have) that can ALSO burn to DVD whilst playing. Anyone know if one is available or any other ideas.
  18. I'm still watching Top Gear looking for you in the crowd
