I would be well up for a Duxford meet. Been 3 times but always to much to take in. Only problem is,.. we say that every year and nothing ever happens.

Anyone into warbirds really should go the the flying legends @ Duxford. Like Psymon said, thank your lucky stars we had the Merlin. Everying from tanks, Wellington's, Lancaster's, Mosquito's, P40s Spitfires and P-51s had Merlins at some stage

We didnt hear much from Flat4_ire after that post. The police found his shoes near the new runway extensions at East mids Airport and some pilots reported a strange lump at the end of north runway approch but the police could find a link.

The problem here is people take things to seriously. Enjoy the club and have a laugh I cant think of a better social group with people that have such alot in common. Even the gays are approachable.

flying is the future. I was watching Back to the Future II last weekend and was surprised to learn in 4 years time (2012) we will all be driving flying cars. How cool is that! Lets hope Mr film director doesnt let me down. I'm looking forward to buying a Anti-gravity system for my Supra.
