Look, I'm not all sex sex sex. This is a genuine good vibe story.

This evening I was in the front garden when this lad (late teens) walked by driving his radio controlled nitro buggy that looked quite special due to its exotic paint scheme and wheels. I've seen him before so struck up a conversation. As soon as I showed a modicum amount of knowledge and interest in all things RC he went into great detail explaining how he worked for HPI and made professionally customized cars for clients on his web site. After showing me a few other items he'd produced on his phone he gave me a quick demo of this current creation he had just finished. Was actually very well made. The detail on the car was staggering. Working lights, windows that opened, heat controlled cooling vans and fully adjustable wheel camber with stretched rubber, not to mention the paint job. He then went onto explain how he was waiting for some really special parts for him to start another car for his own personal collection. A white Toyota Supra. Obviously raising an eyebrow, I said "you mean like the white one thats sometimes parked around here ;)" to which he replied, yes exactly like that! Had I seen it recently?? "Yes" I replied. "This morning, when I put it back in the garage". I of coursed showed him the car and said he was welcome to pop around anytime, as long as he gave me updates on his mini Supra as it progresses.

I'm so tempted. Its the cutting of 35mm to fit my Aero top and re-welding, that puts me off.

That is awesome. I've always wanted to try FPV (from Pilots View) , but going out of range would be so easy . There's some great videos on youtube of people flying miles away, even crossing other countries. Must of cost a bomb that set-up. Please keep me posted, how you get on with FPV. I've filmed loads with helicopters, but those quads are so stable. Perfect for film.

Jacked up the car today and 'attempted' to tightened the subframe bolts. Good news is, the diffuser didn't need removing. The weird thing was, all the bolts seemed solid, and tight enough. Had a good look around and couldn't seem anything amiss regards breaks, shocks or subframe. Tightened every bolt I could find and finally gave up. My miss's needing dropping off in town, so I took the Supra. Low and behold, the knocking has gone. But i feel this only temporary joy, as i didn't drive fast or take it on bumpy roads. A more rigorous test is needed, but fingers crossed.

Adrian Flux was fine first year, 2nd year the price went up like crazy - watch out for your renewal
