  1. Done and worked out well,... apart from some overspray that floated over the car and settled on the windows. A quick wipe over soon removed this,.. but heart stopping. I ended up buying (and don't laugh) some radiator spray paint from B&Q. I figured, it will withstand heat from the engine and be water proof, as it happened, was a pretty good colour match too Went on good with about 5 light coats and 3hrs between coats. Considering its on the inside of the bonnet, I doubt anyone will notice it was painted with a rattle can. I'm happy with the results. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?311151-PICS-Supras-out-from-hibernation-A-few-jobs-done-plus-a-good-clean&p=3908093#post3908093
  2. Soon to be used as my wedding car, I took the opportunity of a free sunny saturday to finish a few jobs. Firstly, removed the engine fabric cover from the inside of the bonnet, then painted the inside white - much improved from the old black rag. Then removed the carbon fiber engine cover and rad cover (cant remember its technical term) to polish up and replaced (Black T-cut worked a treat) Oil changed (Silkolene Pro S) and Coolant changed (Toyota for life) Fresh air in tyres, tax, mot and insured. Now ready to go!

  6. I'm doing the spraying myself,.. as its under the bonnet and only needs a quick spray over. Not exactly critical to get it spot on when under the bonnet. Jurgen sprayed the whole car and i haven't had the need for a good body shop in years, so sorry. Can't really recommend anyone.
  7. well,... the bonnet is off, sound deadener/heat thingie remove and ready to be painted this weekend. Thanks for the info guys.
  8. Cheers Jamie. Appreciated Think I'll get it removed this weekend then.

  11. heating sheeting! You all know what I mean I'll take off the old stuff and have a look at the feasibility of spraying the underside white. I'd expect more traders to sell the stuff as I can't fined the material anywhere? Mind you, I am looking for heating sheeting
  12. Been doing a few jobs on the Supra recently including adding some tasty bits and bobs under the hood. Now I find the tatty under bonnet heating material looks very old. What have you guys used to replace this???? I'd ideally like mirrored or white, but open to suggestions and ideas. Thanks, and Peace out!
  13. It cant be Graham. When he sees flashing lights,.. it normal mean 'game on' for a spot of dogging.
  14. Mines quite cramped, but now I have mastered the packing technique, I'm quite happy with the available space. Just means my garage is never cluttered. Its surprising what you can do with a small erection at the back of the house.
  15. Time to buy some shares in Dunlop I think Great work Alex,... Glad you got it working.
  16. Supra porn. Perfect in every way. Well done mate,

  19. Thanks Shane. Maybe I'll try after moving the diagnostics plug and pulling aside a few wires. You guys must have really small arms,... or quit masturbation wayyy to soon in life.
  20. Its been awhile, but I'm pretty sure it was more accessible on the NA. On this TT, No matter which angle I go in at, I can't get my moneky arms in enough to reach! How are you guys getting to the filter?
  21. thanks for your info guys - much appreciated. After reading this I think I may try the Lexus V8 filter (90915-20004) Anyone here tried one? http://mkiv.com/techarticles/parts/toyota_filter/index.html
