Ive got the same problem AGAIN a cap had blown in the ecu had it replaced and now it’s faulty again so back to have a new cap in tomorrow . Problem : OD will not engage it only goes into 4th when I brake then lift off the brake back into 3rd. - - - Updated - - - It’s your ECU mate same has happened to me

Thanks for the advice the fuse also controls the rear wiper which works ok ,as for auto electrics im clueless ,I have a multimeter , any advice on the testing procedure would be great I also noticed when I stripped the motor that the two magnets were loose I’m assuming they should be stuck to the side of the case

Been out today and my front wipers are not working rears ok and washers ,took the panel off and the motor is hot ,any help would be appreciated thanks . So stripped it down nothing visual cleaned and oiled put it back it just clicked ,so I’ve got power to it the relay must be ok .
