Walbro fuel pump electrical connection advice

Planning to fit my fuel pump, one evening this week. Just looked at the instructions and everything looks pretty staight forward. The only question is, the new electrical harness that comes with the pump also comes with butt splices/connecters. Now once you cut the existing wires and add the new harness with the butt connectors i guess this get submurged in fuel. will this be safe? I guess it must be as it shows this in the instructions. Any ideas/info

Seen ya tonight on the Mandeville road heading away from the target roundabout. You passed Northolt station and turned left at the lights heading towards Eastcote. I was behind ya in a white van.

Sorted it! Found the active spoiler ecu, disconnected it and no more warning light. Ding dang dooo. -

Just took the spoiler 30 Amp fuse out in the drivers footwell. Took the ecu fuse's out and put the back in and started the car and still getting the warning triangle light staying on. Even disconnected the battery but no joy. Do i have to disconnect the active spoiler ecu? And if so where abouts is it? -

Yea mate ive done it quite a few times but all im getting is the o/d off light and the engine light flashing together but no code. -

both the od off light and the engine light was flashing together with the spoiler light. Where is the spoiler ECU? Is it just to simply disconnect it? -
Just fitted my Fmic and other bits and bobs. Finally got the car back together and my red warning triangle is lit constantly now when i start her. Done a diagnostics check tonight and the o/d off light just flash's and doesent give a code out. I noticed as well, the spoiler light was flashing at the same rate. I have removed the front spoiler to get the fmic to fit. Is this the reason the red warning triangle is on?

Spent the last four weekends on and off fitting an Fmic, fluidyne radiator, Oil cooler, and tranny cooler. Just fitted the front bumper and wired up the headlamps and the drivers side main beam and daylight aint working. Had the headlamps out checked and double checked the conections and everything is ok. The warning triangle is staying lit on the speedo so dont know if this is linked. Any ideas?

Just fitted my B&M tranny cooler, and for the temp sensor to work correctly i have to know which hose the oil is pumped out of the engine from. In the picture you can see the two hose's im talking about with the jubilee clips round them. Any help would be great.[GRIN][/GRIN]

Are you getting the complete kit or are you just getting the cooler like i have?

I bought this B&M Hi tec cooler for my auto transmission as i've just fitted my Fluidyne radiator. The problem Im having is i cant seem to get the Parts needed to fit it. In the instructions It say's the inlet-outlet fittings are 1/2" NPTF. Any ideas where i get these fittings from? Also is it just a case of using the same pipes that came off the original radiator or do i have to renew/Change these? Pictures below.

Have a same problem i think. It also feels like a missfire to me. Been told by a machanic its not a missfire but an injector spluttering.

Sounds like your maxing out in 3rd gear. I think if your in manu mode or o/d off then then it will max out in 3rd gear rather than shifting into 4th. Had mine max out a few times like this:eyebrows:

Im fitting my new fluidyne radiator tomrw and i think ive got sussed. Only question is, is it worth flushing the old radiator through first with any sort of cleaner to get rid of any gunk that might be in the system. If so whats the best thing to use?
