  1. Nice... Ive sent my brother a link as he is after a set of 18s. [emoji106]
  2. Hi mate, Any pics of them on the car?
  3. Good shout. Thanks for the info I'll let you know how I get on.
  4. Exactly what I said to him, I even printed out a Wikipedia supra page noting the differences but he could see past the engine code. I'll go back and appeal.
  5. It is a TT Jap spec. But it should still not need a cat test from what you mentioned in previous posts. Is that correct?
  6. Must be! I explained all this to him before I even took the car to him. This is what's on the gas analyser print out. Vin number doesn't match either.
  7. The car was registered 01/06/1997 in the uk which he pointed out to me in the log book. Does it go by that or by year made?
  8. Right just back from the MOT garage and it failed on emissions!!! After all the explaining and proof I showed him that the Jap spec is different from the uk spec. He's reply was that he found an engine code match on the system and that's what he has to put it through as!! He said the system gets updated and what was the case might not be the case anymore. So pissed as I feel he never listened to what I was explaining to him... I think it boils down to this.... If your de-cat'd take it to an MOT station that has good knowledge of Supras or are just dead friendly [emoji12].
  9. Cheers. If it don't go through on Thursday at my local place I'll be in touch.
  10. Right after finding out some info i found here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?314369-New-MOT-rules and going with what Benjy Said in that Thread . I took a printout to my local MOT test station. After a bit of a discussion which he was adamant at the start that all cars after 1992 need a cat test. He came round to the fact that it could possibly go through as long as his system gives him the option where he can't find an "Exact match" due to it being an import. He said he won't know for sure until the car is with him and all the details are put in his system. Its booked in on Thursday 4pm so we will see.
  11. Cool I think I found some info on that. I'm going down the MOT station now to see what they say.
  12. Just Been speaking to a few very local MOT stations and they are saying built from 1992 onwards the car will need a cat test.
  13. Are you sure? It seems to be a grey area. Some say the regs changed at K reg 92-93. But I have heard before that it's different for Jap imports but never confirmed.
  14. Currently on the 3 network but will be getting an unlock code from 3 any time now. iPhone 6 Plus, white front silver back. This is the 128gb model. Bought from carphone warehouse in December and have the receipt which I will include so still under warranty. Phone has been well looked after in Excellent condition in fully working order. I applied a glass screen protector on the phone when I first got it and it still looks as good as the day it was fitted which I will leave on. Comes with original box, charger lead and unused headphones. £600 posted.
  15. Thanks for getting back.. I'm going to leave it and go down the stubby route.
  16. Hi mate, Is the Aerial in good working order?
  17. Anyone know of a Emission friendly MOT garage. I'm based in Deal near Dover but don't mind traveling a bit. Probably best to PM any info. Cheers
  18. I've had my car in storage for the last few years and used a trickle charge system to keep the battery topped up. Now I've moved I've got the supra on the parents drive and left it for 4 weeks without the trickle charger. When I tried to start the car the battery was completely flat. I've jumped started it, drove it 10 miles (20min) switched it off and there wasn't enough juice in the battery to even turn the car over. Battery is 3-4 years old and the car has been mostly stored over its life. I've done a quick multimeter test across the battery at idle I'm I'm getting a 13.47 reading. I understand that I probably should have went for a longer run to charge the battery a bit more but the multimeter readings seem a bit low to me.
  19. Cheers. Just checked on whifbitz site £300 :-(. You'd expect it to fit perfect for that price.
