  1. You need form V888 which you can download from the DVLA. Requesting information after an accident is considered reasonable: "You should include as much supporting evidence as possible including, for example, copies of estimates for repair for a damaged vehicle. Please note that the Agency will not normally release information in respect of an allegation of damage to a vehicle to anyone who is not the registered keeper, or does not provide written authority from the registered keeper of the damaged vehicle." Hope this helps?
  2. I really like the translucent bonnet shots! Very nice. I might try that myself.....that is, if I ever get my car back from the body shop! The respray has hit 10 weeks now... If I ever get it back I'll post piccys
  3. I asked the same question and this is the answer I found! It's like car depreciation, if your car drops by £2000, that money hasn't physicaly gone, it was never there, it was percieved value. It worries me a little that the global economy is based on thin air...

  14. I rate Halfords Professional gear, excellent stuff. My oldest ratchet broke the other day, the little button you press to allow the socket to go on/off snapped...it was 15 years old!

  17. Sorry, my mistake is was 6%: 'The TRL Report 323 puts excessive speed as a definite factor in only six per cent of occasions' The rest of the 30% they claim is where speed is recorded as a 'contributary factor' along with drink, drugs, loss of control etc.; however, the 'other' factors are largely ignored in the publicity, leaving speed as primary demon. There lies, damn lies and statistics....
