Ta It is a fantastic colour for the Supe, it shows the lines wonderfully

Cheers everyone. I'm dead chuffed with it; it was a proper strip and paint and he's done an A1 jpb, a real perfectionist. The bonnet is a carbon TRD I got from Envy, he had a few problems with the rear spoiler, but managed to drill new holes and sort the old ones so it looks mint. The wheels look a bit tired up close; there's some corrosion on a couple and the need re-furbing. With the new colour, I'm not sure whether I should keep them silver or paint the rim black or something? The only problem with a nice paintjob is that it's making the interior look a little shabby I'm also having it mapped by Ryan next Wednesday so I'm like a kid at Christmas at the mo!

The respray of my Supe is finally finished! Woohoo! The colour has changed from silver to dark grey (it's actually a metallic with flecks of copper and green, but you can't see it unless the sun shines on it, which it wasn't today ); it's also gained a carbon TRD bonnet and spoiler. I'm really happy with it, it's a superb job and I can't fault it at all. Mods: can I say who painted it as he's not a trader on here? Well, with no more a do, I give you, my newly painted Supe: Bigger versions here (I tried adding these as web-link pics, but it just gave me little crosses?): Pic1 Pic2 Pic3 Pic4 Pic5

Any thoughts?

Quick background: The car started on Wednesday morning no problem after installing an AEM EMS and downloading a base map curtesy of Ryan; Wednesday afternoon I disconnected the battery and put it up on a ramp to sort out an oil leak and fit an AEM wideband sensor. Ramp back down, I installed UK 550 injectors (J-Spec car), as well as a resistor pack and 3.5Bar MAP sensor. Needed to move the car, so before I installed the HKS DLi and Boost solenoid I reconnected the battery and went to start it, but...nothing! The car has a Toad AI606 alarm, which now (I can't remember how many chirps it made on Wednesday when it started, but I think it was 1) beeps 3 times when arming (suggesting that something is open, but nothing is), and then no beeps when disarming, however it does flash twice and the LED on the dash goes orange, suggesting that all is ok. Key in, turn, all the guages light up, dash mostly lights up, but no oil pressure or ignition (battery) light; turn the key and...nothing! Not a sausage! I'm guessing that I've done something, knocked or disconnected something, either during the resistor pack install or when I had the dash apart for fitting the AEM guage, but I cannot find anything. Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp! Any thoughts? Thanks

I have an second hand AEM Boost Solenoid, but I don't have the connectors that screw in and attach to the vacuum pipes. Does anyone on her have any I could buy? ta.

I've never had a kidney stone, for which I'm very grateful, but having broken myself in more ways than I care to mention, I'm with Bluecoup, sneezing with broken ribs is the single greatest pain I've ever had, surpassing a punctured kidney, shattered wrist, broken limbs, gouged eye and many, many more...

When Faith No More supported Guns and Roses (1992 I think) they encouraged a spanish crowd to throw bottles! Someone urinated in one and then threw it at the band. After much on stage discussion about it, Mike Pattern took the bottle, crouched infront of the big monitor and poured it over his head.... Rock and Roll eh...

Still haven't moved the power lines then? Lovely pic though.

£4K for engine chroming? Is this some kind of internal mod I'm not aware of, because if he spent £4k on getting the plenum and cam covers polished, he was seriously taken for a ride! He should have spoken to Envy

I have a silver J-spec one if you're interested? No scoop though I'm afraid. It's not 100%, there are a couple of minor dents and a few small scratches, but I don't want anything for it. It's currently at the bodyshop where my car's being painted and the sprayer said that he'd repair and paint it for £200 if that's of any use?

If I'd have known, you could have had my old one, it's silver!
