  1. Thanks for that. I was hoping to get one second hand if possible; I'd rather not have to pay another £200
  2. I'm really sorry, I didn't see these posts The swap out was quite easy; you just need to keep putting the oil in as it looks full way before it's at the right level! I chased a grinding noise for ages If you have any probs, please give me a shout.
  3. It's for a GT3584, so I'd like to keep the housing at .82; my knowledge of singles is limited, but I believe it's a dual ball bearing, is that twin scroll? Anyone have a housing? Thanks
  4. How much are they new? Also, how long would it take to get here? Ta.
  5. I'm after a 0.82 exhaust housing for a GT35; it needs to have a T4 flange and VBand exhaust connection. I've tried a couple of suppliers such as Turbo Dynamics, but they don't have any; they have a T3 version, but want £350 for it! Anyone? Thanks Tony
  6. I had the same thing with my decat pipe on the stock tubbies, the angle was wrong and I had a nightmare getting it to mate with the midpipe I'll post a 'Wanted' thread. Thanks
  7. Thanks for all your responses, I'm dead chuffed with the help.
  8. Unfortunately it's the top connection, the feed from the block and not the return (sorry, I realised that I'd labelled the thread wrongly after I posted ). I've had several people look at the connection, but we're struggling to work out what the thread is!
  9. It's the GT358466R, which is the GT35R, but with a larger compressor inducer and it's a 0.82 housing. I'm all for a simple fix! I need the car running by Wednesday and I can't connect the tubbie!
  10. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
  11. I've found several links to threads needing a vband to 4 bolt adapter for wastegates, but not for Turbo to Downpipe. I need one of these, but from the UK: http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=ATP-FLS-028&Category_Code=GTBB Does anyone know who could supply one? Ta.
  12. In that kit (the left most picture) it's the silver elbow adapter. Can these be bought seperately? As I said, I've tried several places, but they can't even identify the thread! Apparently it's not a normal metric standard (10mm is too small and 12mm is too big), not does it appear to be imperial or NPT as the thread is 1mm fine pitch! Any help would be VERY much appreciated! Ta.
  13. Unfortunately not That is the side I have, it's the other fitting I'm missing, the one that looks similar to the one that goes into the block, but the thread is different and the shank appears to be 11mm rather than 12mm. It's in the Boostlogic kit, it's just not in the one I have and they say they don't sell them individually
  14. I've searched, but I cannot find..... I have a Boostlogic oil feed and return kit, which I'm (trying) to use with a GT35R; the pipe from the block to the bottom of the tubbie which has the squished, oval flange with two securing holes is fine and I have the hose that comes from the block, but not the adaper that then screws into the turbo! I have tried several suppliers such as hydraulic adapter specialists etc., but no one knows where to get one... The thread appears to be 11mm bore with a 1mm pitch and a cone internally, so I'd need a female end? Any thoughts? I really need to get this by Friday; does anyone know where I can get one? Thanks Tony
  15. Yeah, it's looking that way; hey, ho....I was just hoping for an easy way out Thanks for all your replies.
  16. Thanks for that; how much are they and do you have them in stock? If so, how long will she shipping take? I can't afford a new kit so I've cobbled one together from a GT358466R tubbie, re-worked (re-welded and honed) XS power manifold, HKS wastegate and screamer pipe and XS downpipe. I've also got 800cc SARD injectors, a second Walbro and SARD FPR, so fuelling should be ok. The engine is already built, so I just need the above bits
  17. Thanks for the answers, that's exactly what I needed to know! I have the HKS dump valve; do you know who can supply the weld on flange? I wasn't aware that the tubbie had an output like that, it certainly makes life a lot easier Thanks everyone.
  18. I'm going single soon, but I'm confused about the IC pipe from the tubbie. From all the searches I've done and piccys I've seen, the pipe seems to be clean, with no taps from it for the boost controller feed or the dump valve? I have seen the dump valve mounted on the intake side, but I cannot find that pipe for sale anywhere? In addition, I cannot find a concise answer about which pipe(s) I will need for a GT35R? All the answers I find say "get one fabricated" I don't know any fabricators, so that's a bit of a stumbling block and I'm surprised that more standard 'off the shelf' options don't exist? Granted I may be looking in the wrong place (hopefully), but I need some help! Could anyone help with info on what I need to buy to plumb in the IC out port of a GT35R into the existing IC pipework and how I then get a feed for the boost controller and dump valve? Thanks Tony
  19. I really like this; I haven't heard anything new that I've liked in ages!
  20. Happy to help mate. It's worth checking the gaps, but I'd be surprised if they affected it at tickover? If you want to try different injectors, give me a shout.
  21. It's a bit of a pain, but shouldn't take more than about 1.5 hours or so. It might be worth checking the idle valve at the back of the plenum chamber? I'm grasping at straws a bit there though... I might be a blocked or split vacuum pipe, which might explain the poor pickup?
