  1. I've been a few times and I really like it there, for those of you considering emigration (I think there are lots considering the amount of threads on the subject) then you might want to consider it. The only bad thing is language and distance from home, but nowhere is perfect is it? People are polite, everything works and is on time, prices are much cheaper than you think, and everywhere you look there a lots and lots and lots of cute japanese girls Not to mention the roads, I didn't see any traffic jams. Nor speed cameras, nor police, in fact there weren't even any bumps or potholes whatsoever. I did see several scoobies/evos/skylines/soarers even aristos - but no supras?! At night the Tokyo skyway was a driving dream, like a free for all speedway, where the only rule is to go as fast as you can. Go there if you get the chance!
  2. Yahoo tried something similar but ebay pisses over everything and anything that tries to compete. What's wrong with just using ebay?
  3. If you think they are bad what about those of the USA

Just saw this thread, checked your garage and what a beaut, sorry that it has now gone. Hope it all goes well with insurance etc. Keep us posted!
  5. Not sure if anyone read my previous post as nobody has commented on it yet, but I still think it is pertinent to the discussion: "Much as we may personally disapprove of the laws, customs and traditions of other countries, it's nevertheless our obligation to respect them while we are there. If you call a toy bear by the name of Mohammed in Sudan, drink beer in Saudi, or have your chest shaved by a barber in Omaha - you're breaking the law." We might think of those laws as ludicrous, but the people who made them don't. By the same token, I am sure we too have daft laws that people of foreign countries think are stupid too. At the end of the day it's not a serious matter. Only when a country advocates something serious like terrorism or genocide, THEN can a foreign power step in in the name of humanitarianism. Being arrested over calling a teddy by the name of Mohammed is hardly a case for calling in the SAS is it? Subtle diplomacy behind the scenes will do the trick.
  6. Yes I know many of you have been there, some of you probably still are. What can I do it's nearly 6am and I've been up for nearly 2 hours. Normally I sleep through it and our lass sorts it out, but circumstances dictate that I'm the mummy tonight. Glad I don't have to do this every night!
  7. And what are you doing exactly apart from moaning on an internet car forum? Much as we may personally disapprove of the laws, customs and traditions of other countries, it's nevertheless our obligation to respect them while we are there. If you call a toy bear by the name of Mohammed in Sudan, drink beer in Saudi, or have your chest shaved by a barber in Omaha - you're breaking the law. Now deal with it!
  8. Well done, I like the nose too. Going to be a bitch to keep clean
  9. Your arrogance is unbelievable. Your stance is that of the colonialists. If you want world war 3, keep on voicing your opinion, because confrontation is all that will come of it!
  10. Do we take it you have never heard of Andrew Jackson and weren't expecting any money from someone by that name?
  11. Come on it can't be that bad? Your 18k post count speaks for itself! True the ownership profile has changed, but there is still tons of supra chat and info on here, easy the best forum of its type on the net. And welcome back Paul
  12. Car parks have got to be one of the most lucrative businesses I can think of. People pay you good money for what? Just to be able to park on a piece of land. No upkeep, no buildings, practically zero maintenance, just minimum wage for some bloke to stand there all day. Easy!
  13. That's a result. They usually get all safety conscious and fussy and won't allow you to go over 4k revs etc, but to have a timed lap as fast as you can? Give your girl a medal
  14. Kopite's is the best thing around for the price IMO

I hope McLaren gets it - and then comes back to manage BORO! He was our best manager ever!!!
  17. My mate who works in the business lending side of a bank says the most profitable businesses - if run properly - are take-aways. No wonder there are so many of them around. Also Internet Cafes, and cafes in general. Best of luck mate.
  18. Sky would only give me 1 year NCB for my second car, even though I have FULL ncb with my Supra?!?!
  19. Very naughty, he's certainly got some balls. I love the understated commentary. If that was American it would be all 'YEEHAH!!!' and 'WOOHOOO!!!' which I find very tedious.
  20. Thing you'd better just stick to this forum mate!
  21. THX for that, those pics at the end of the thread are the ones
