  1. There are a few black ones in Ealing I think, this is the 3rd I have seen, and no responses from any of my Was It You threads This time parked up in a side road of Uxbridge Rd...
  2. ah missed it. Anybody seen those syd barrett videos on youtube?
  3. Been there done that. In '89 in a Pontiac Firebird. It was crap. Give me a Supra please.
  4. I dream of driving my supra in the US. Never gonna happen.... ...unless... ...are there any rental agencies out there that hire supras? Surely not
  5. Tuesday lunchtime going very slowly over the speed bumps in Gordon Rd with a couple of birds one in front, one in the back
  6. X-rays are harmful as they disrupt your DNA and can be carcinogenic. That's why radiographers in hospitals stand behind a lead sheild while the machine is on. It's ok for the odd necessary procedure like broken bones etc, but prolonged exposure is dangerous. Also airport machines might have stronger rays than hospitals, not sure about that
  7. As an exiled Northerner living in London I have just read and enjoyed this book. It reminded me that I have never had a decent pie in London. Tonight we had a pie from M&S for tea, but it wasn't all that. Does anyone know where you can get some DECENT pies in London. Sorry for mis-spelt thread title.

    R.I.P Supra.

Why would they cancel your policy? Why then send you 5 letters to tell you? My only guess is that they were chasing payment from you. Did you check with them and ask them which address they were sending the letters to? Something doesn't add up here.
  9. I bet it's owned by one of our (quiet & embarassed) members
  10. Back now but my mate lives in Malaga. Let us know what you want, I should be able to sort it out. Club spirit and all that

It would have been better 30 odd years ago. I find these nostalgic gigs kind of depressing
  12. This was on Friday afternoon in the long term car park, been anywhere nice? Or still away...

I think 80 grand is the going rate
  17. We all make mistakes, but I'd still get 9/10 for my sentence. Which isn't bad. The post I'm talking about would have got a 3, and many of our foreign members would put many of us to shame with their excellent English. Anyway the point I was making was that I genuinely want to know about 460Supra's new business, and if he thinks he may be at a disadvantage because of his limited abilities in written English? Or if people just don't care any more?
  18. Not suggesting for a moment that anyone should be hanged, lighten up mate but I do wonder about the impression a client, bank manager or other professional would have if they were doing business with someone who spelled like a 8 year old.
  19. Well it can be dangerous can't it? Like it says, "driving at night with sunglasses on". Obviously most windows aren't tinted that bad, but the police are on the lookout for those that are, which surely can only be a good thing?
  20. I can't imagine anyone buying it for anything like it's real value with those stickers and that spoiler. As an aside, are you really going to set up in business when you can't tell the difference, among many other grammatical things, between 'no' and 'know'?
  21. OK this is a bit gay but I would very much appreciate it if some of you took a second to vote for our baby Oliver in a cute kid competition kind of thing. Winning baby gets to be on a pack of nappies for a year! Woo hoo! Click below to vote, and it's OLIVER who is 3 months old, 2nd from left top row THX!!! Click to vote
