Some perspective: In 1973 the price of petrol QUADRUPLED. Think about it for a moment. Also it's only oil & petrol, it's not like you're going to die or anything. You CAN afford it. If you can't - sell your car and get something that IS affordable. Deal with it. There are a lot more people, a LOT more, that cannot even afford to eat, let alone drive a performance car. Give some thought to the poor of the world. They have to pay high prices too.

I think this article has got some of it right but not all of it. The Netherlands should be at number 99 not number 9, and Russia should not even be in the top 100. Germany and France should both be in the top 10! True that Sweden should be #1 mind, their girls are a bit lush.

I'm off to the US again soon and just for a change I'd like to rent a supra instead of the usual rubbish they give you. I know it's unlikely but does anyone know if that is possible? I will be flying into Chicago btw. If not a Supra, perhaps someone knows if there is something else half decent that I could drive instead

I should have added a poll to this, but so far it looks like ManU have by far the most support. I hope they win but I also hope they don't annoy the hell out of the rest of us by constantly reminding us how great they are, now that does get very boring

It's not that bad. I've seen much worse things done to cars in Egypt, India and Pakistan. Engines held together with bits of old string, twigs and cardboard. Seat belts so old they have literally worn through and are in threads. Tyres so bald there is no rubber left, just canvas and wire. They would love to get their hands on such technological marvels as rubber bands, plastic ties etc. This lad's Pug would seem like a Rolls Royce to them.

As a boro fan I am officially a neutral but if Chelsea win this I will be most upset. How anyone could support the club that has given us Dennis Wise, the Chelsea Smile and which has distorted the whole of football by the millions thrown at it by a dodgy Russian version of Arthur Daley is beyond me. Due to the amount of bandwagon jumpers, another disease of modern football, they also have the least knowledgeable supporters of all premiership teams, which is something I find amusing. This is a funny post, everyone assuming that it was in the UK! It just goes to show how some people have a prejudiced view of what goes on here in their own country and are quite happy to make sweeping statements like 'bring back the death penalty' before even knowing any simple, basic facts.
