Giving the lifer a choice of testing or not is different to what you said earlier. Testing on humans (even paedos) against their will is akin to torture - how anyone can seriously think this is acceptable in this day and age is beyond me.

And yes these "people" are HIGHLY qualified scientists, finding cures for 'all sorts of diseases and things like that' How is that disgraceful?

If you became paralysed or incapacitated would you refuse treatment that had been pioneered by experiments on animals such as this? Scientists don't do these kind of things just for fun or because they are sadists. They do it to further our scientific knowledge and so that YOU and everyone else will have the potential to benefit.

They want me to Dj out there later this year, but I am wondering if it will be worth the 30+ hours travelling time to get there, plus the 30+ hours to get back plus all the jet lag and time off work etc. I have been to Oz before so I don't need to go there just to 'tick off' another country that I've visited, so I was thinking it would be OK if Perth was a decent place to visit, or is it really just somewhere that's remote and boring?

If you go over often it might be worth buying a phone out there on a Pay As You Go tarriff, they are quite cheap, that's what I do anyway.

OK their fees get higher and higher, they stop your auction if you say you accept cash, they steer you more and more to use their subsidiary Paypal, they have now refused sellers to leave -ve feedback to buyers... the list of problems goes on and on. So are there any alternatives apart from the local paper? I have just found out about this, but is it any good? At the moment it appears eGay is going to take over the world

Where did you hear that? News to me. Why not? You only need petrol to start the car and in case you run out of LPG, so the petrol tank only really needs to hold a gallon or so. I have been running an LPG/petrol Vauxhall Astra and AFAIC when using LPG instead of petrol it is exactly the same - but with HALF the fuel costs. No brainer.

It's a great car but the pictures let it down, some look like they were taken with a mobile phone. Put it in a better location rather than a wet, drab lane and on a sunny day, put some time into it maybe ask a friend who is good at taking pics and see the difference in the response you get. Good luck all the same
