Got it fixed, thanks Darren. Turns out the because the seat is positioned next to the control unit, it was pulling on the wires coming from the unit. Now I have moved the unit a little and all sorted. What a relief that it was something so simple and I didn't have to get any replacement parts!

It looks neat enough there when first put on, but won't it go manky after a while and be hard to clean

Yes tried that and the unit switches off, then when I switch on again all three settings have defaulted to 00,00 again. When I try and make the front go softer, whether 8 or 10 or 16 or whatever, after a minute or two the ER code occurs again, and I have to switch the unit off and on again. So it looks like something is wrong with the front right of the system then?

I've had the Tein super streets with edfc since Dec last year, all working fine, until now... I did have it set at soft (16,16), medium (8,8) and hard (0,0) for the three settings, but now the memory has lost them, and it defaults to (0,0) which does not make for a comfy everyday ride to say the least! I can't get it to accept or memorise any settings at all. When I make the settings, I can hear the motors at work front and back, but after a few seconds the front setting reads ER (I guess ERROR) and the whole thing bleeps and flashes and nothing I do will alter anything unless I switch the unit off and on again. Then it defaults back to (0,0) again. I have looked under the bonnet and the wires are intact. I've done a search and I can't see this problem anywhere else. As it's only 8 months old, will it be under warranty? I wasn't given the box or any instructions by the garage who fitted it. Is it kerknackered or am I missing something obvious?!? Help!

I went past there again today and there are LOADS of very long skid marks. Obviously a lot of people use that road for some high speed runs - I remember Terrible Turner claiming 175 leps on that road and that is not exceptional. It seems some unlucky ones have been caught out. I think it's dangerous putting a camera there, especially with no warning signs. Lui how does your snooper update itself with new camera locations?
