  1. That video shows us what it must have been like for you when up against the Supras at Llandow last month
  2. As they were climbing up I would warn them that I knew where they lived and would tell their mothers. If that didn't work I would wee on them
  3. He gets the money to pay for the loss of his job & future earnings, the aggro and probably legal fees too. He would not have got the payout if he didn't have a case. The police would rather pay him off now than show their dirty laundry in public. What's so wrong with the BNP anyway?
  4. Funny... almost had me going until I scrolled further! But what I don't understand is, how do a few guys in a speedboat get a HUGE container ship to stop and pull over? It's like a mouse coming up to me and saying STOP OR I'll BITE YOU. Just squash the fecker and move on
  5. Oh my heart bleeds. Those poor old souls who worked so, so hard to earn their £150,000 per year will have to pay a bit more tax. That means if they earn £200,000 they will have to pay another 5 grand. OUCH now that's going to HURT. [sarcasm mode off] Try telling that to the real workers of this country, the nurses, the firemen and the small business owners who work just as hard and are just as vital, yet aren't in the money-making business. Not everyone is greedy and driven by earning more cash than can be spent, so why not spend some of that on tax. We have to get the tax from somewhere!
  6. It helps companies with their cashflow. If you have a monthly spend of say £50k including vat, then it will be reduced by over a grand, which can be spent elsewhere.
  7. Personally I have had at least 2 or 3 instances where the seller is no longer registered on ebay after I have bought their goods, and still received the items. Ebay is not as dodgy as people make out. There are 1000s of legit transactions for every dodgy one. I have had plenty if not more dodgy experiences in the 'real world'
  8. Give them some time to deliver before opening your dispute. Patience please.
  9. He flew past it early on the straight in the 2nd one
  10. Did anyone record this so we can all see?
  11. I don't think the large size of the flame means that the meteor itself is big. IIRC they can be quite small, but for some reason (not sure why) the flame is massive, much bigger than you'd expect
  12. Well mine come from my arse. Interesting fart fact: In World War Two, the US Air Force estimates that around 1000 to 2000 airmen were killed because of flatulence. The reason is B-17 bombers were not pressurized, so when bomber crews operated around 20,000 feet, the gas would expand and rupture their intestines.
  13. Fascinating. I never knew that we breathe through our stomachs
  14. Welcome and nice to hear you are driving properly unlike so many people these days
  15. Check out this '97 vvti with 59k miles for less than £8k. Now that IS a bargain
  16. It's a mystery! Not US, not UK, not Euro, not Jap. Maybe it's a Botswana spec?
  17. The sixth sick sheik's sixth sheep's sick is the toughest tongue twister in the English language
  18. There is a lot of competition for business. I would hassle O2 and ask them for their VERY BEST deal or you will leave. See what happens, you should get a better offer because they will NOT want you to leave
  19. If you fall in quicksand its impossible to sink any further than your chest

    Speeding fines

All that they are saying is that it is punishable by a 6 point penalty rather than 3 points if you're caught 20mph or more over the limit. What is wrong with that. Do you think it's OK to go 50mph in a built up area with a 30mph limit? Personally I think the whole system should be revamped. Discretion should play more of a part eg clear road, good weather, no traffic, no accidents/claims in 20 years - why shouldn't I be able to have a short burst of speed?

    Speeding fines

There is a separate bill that is also coming in specifically to combat the problem of 'drug driving' just like we currently have 'drink driving'. There are already laws against no insurance or road tax, so how does that make you "more likely to get away with it" if you're caught speeding whether by camera or not?
