  1. All Toyotas since the Supra have been ugly [FACT]
  2. Click here to find out. If you happen to have a spare send me a pm I'll take it off your hands and see you're alright
  3. Just checked and got the +ve feedback from the buyer with "excellent seller" and nothing seems awry with my paypal account so... I think that's a

I give up. It's too painful to read. It hurts, it really does. I give you just few more days Dom, and you won't be on here any more. You see, people won't reply to you because they can't be bothered to decipher your appalling English. If you can't be bothered to write properly, then why should they bother wasting their time trying to understand what you're on about?
  5. They have all gone out for a walk. I stayed in feigning tiredness/indigestion/laziness.
  6. I got a satsuma and a bag of nuts. The recession has hit home!
  7. Nice to see some honesty here. I am twice your age and I still have to remind myself to treat the car with respect. One false move and that's it! It is easily done, every few weeks someone posts the dreaded 'crash' post on this very board, and that doesn't include the Supra owners who are NOT members of this board, or who don't post their misfortunes here
  8. yes the main roads out there are awesome esp the toll roads

I am sure you know a lot about cars and there is a lot more to learn from people on here BUT on a forum like this your attention to spelling and grammar will pay great dividends, it is actually painful trying to decipher what you're saying otherwise. Many people will lose patience and as such your knowledge won't be improved.
  10. I was out last night on the cold slippery roads, which were quite empty, and something was bugging me. So I had a think and realised that I was scared to open the Supra up cos of possibilty of a 'scary back end movement' (no not that type of 'back end movement ') and then I thought no that's not it, it's because there may be a copper lurking on the slip road, and then I thought no that's not it, maybe it's because they have posted a new speed camera here that I haven't seen before... etc. So what bothers you the most?
  11. OK done that, THX Jake. Fingers crossed. To be fair paypal have been good over many, many transactions over the years, but when there is 3k at stake I'm not taking any risks!
  12. I sold a record on ebay to a guy in the US for nearly £3000. He paid promptly with paypal and included a payment for shipping insurance. He didn't give me any special instructions nor did he ask for me to declare a lower value, so I sent it off insured for £3000. Record is delivered but he is bitching that he has import taxes to pay, so he won't accept it and will return it. Question: should this all go sour (he is already accusing me of being 'unfair'), will he be able to reclaim his money from paypal IF I have withdrawn the money from paypal to my bank account? In other words, will paypal be able to take money from my debit card which is linked to the account, if he makes a claim? IMO I have done nothing wrong, but paypal seem to have rules of their own...
  13. Why don't you ask these people and find out?
  14. OK while I am at it with 3 way mini-roundabouts, here is another one. Can someone please explain the logic of why at some traffic lights there are lights with green directional arrows, but not red ones? Confront a driver a green arrow light and a solid red light at the same time and you will more often than not get hesitation and confusion - it means 'stop' and 'go' at the same time. I often see drivers getting beeped cos they haven't seen the green arrow and are stopped at red. Or they turn right at a green 'straight on' arrow because there was no 'red arrow' light to stop them. Why not have red arrow lights too? Almost every other country in the world has them, but it seems that they are too sensible for us stubborn brits. Ok rant over. I will think of something else again soon. Probably speed bumps. Again.
  15. True in that in the news it's all doom and gloom with poor high street sales etc, the real news is that internet sales are where it's at and have quite simply taken over. The small business on the high street that is no more, have not gone out of business - they have just gone online.
  16. Apparently there is some kind of 'roundabout appreciation society' in the UK which makes daytrips to roundabouts throughout the UK. [FACT] I am guessing that the Hemel Hemstead one is the highlight of their year, it really has to be seen to be believed.
  17. Better business yes, but they have no soul.
  18. Is it me or does anyone else find these a PITA. Big roundabouts are no problem, they are large scale and a simple no-brainer system. Smaller ones esp 3 way ones are a nuisance. I come across them sometimes with stationary traffic, because nobody is sure who to give way to. Then on other occasions someone who looks like they are going straight on swerves right, across traffic, (without indicating of course). Then sometimes I'm heading straight on over the thing, and somebody appears from a side road on my right so I have to stop and let them out. There are many times I have seen some drivers NOT stop because they didn't see someone come out, and a crash was narrowly avoided. OK rant over. Carry on everyone.
  19. Which is pretty much how it is in the US. And where the US leads, we follow. Town centres in the US are dead, depressing places. Much like how UK town centres have become, and it's getting worse. Tesco & out-of-town malls/plazas are parasitic, but loathe them as we do we flock to them like sheep.
  20. Super job there, I liked the stripey one too but that's taken it to another level!
  21. Parked outside School Disco
  22. The parents get their 5 mins of fame on the net, the kid gets a lifetime of misery
  23. Great idea, and the stupid tory who is says it's all a waste of time and money needs a great big thump on his pointy little head
