There is one of these things near where I live and I looked it up and could not believe they have a 3.2l engine in that little body. It looks boring like most hatchbacks IMO but are they respectablecars/any good etc?
  2. I was reading this and apparently the NHS recommends eating bananas for getting some shut eye. Personally I can't comprehend life without a MINIMUM of 8 hours kip. Being able to go to work whenever I like helps with that, and is one of the main reasons I started my own company. Early morning starts at 6am? No thanks!
  3. For some reason it made me cringe with despair. As if this thread wasn't in poor taste enough. There are some right knuckle-draggers on this board.
  4. Funny! Thx for sharing, only heard one of those before, so no repost grief from me
  5. Some kids did that on my old school a few years ago, It was visible on google earth for a few years before someone grassed and told the teachers.
  6. Would it look so nice if the backdrop was a council estate?
  7. Because it's somewhere to skive - legitimately
  8. I'll tell you when I've been there, and only if it meets with my approval. I don't want you to waste your time do I? I have to find something else to read now. I think I'll use the laptop.
  9. I read the UK road atlas. I am in constant search for a long, long deserted straight with no junctions or hills etc, and have now been looking for weeks, if not months, for the perfect one. I think I have finally found it, and one of these days I will go there for a quick high speed run.
  10. Ha! Knew there was a catch somewhere

  12. OK who else fits 2 kids babies in the back of their supe?
  13. what they all said, black does not go!
  14. Use amex online, they only charge a tenner, your bank will charge you a £20-25 fee
  15. It's more a matter of NEED than one of WANT
  16. Like car parks... you pay in advance for 2 hours, but leave after 10 mins... do you get a refund? I think anything less than 10% is petty, and anything that is pennies even more petty.
  17. Every business has to take into account shortfalls through damage, loss or theft. Have you seen the state some shops are in at the end of a working day? It all gets added onto the price in the end, and like I say, there have been plenty times when I have put TOO MUCH money on an item, it's an error easily done. Do I get a refund? NO
  18. The post bill from our franking machine is about £10,000 per year. They complain about something 3p short. They don't let me know if I mistakenly OVERPAY an item do they. Still ranting.
  19. I got a letter from them today saying one of the items I had posted was 3p short. It should have been 37p, not 34p. Three fookin pence. And they feel the need to write me a letter giving me all this spiel about how I should make a franking impression for the difference and send it back for them, plus their 80p admin fee. I can't believe how petty and trivial this is, and that they and now I have to deal with it, making hassle and paperwork and wasting time for a poxy 3p. :complain: OK rant over, thanks for reading.
  20. You were doing so well with full stops and capital letters, then you let yourself down when you said comma's
  21. 'should have' and 'should of'
