  1. Sad to see and I don't think this will be the last of these kind of threads
  2. Twice in 5 years, mods please add an extra option
  3. Every day for many years now. You get used to it, and TBH it's a lot freeer flowing and more considerate than most cities I have driven in.
  4. Yes cyclists don't consume fossil fuels and it is good for exercise etc but FFS please learn to ride your bike properly before venturing out onto the busy London streets. I have no problem with the pros who cycle day in day out, they know what they are doing. It's when summer comes and all the noobs come out, taking up the whole road, swaying all over the place, one hand on the handle bars the other on their mobile/ipod, thinking they own the road, but are really a hazard to themselves and everyone else. Same thing for weekend drivers. They are another breed.
  5. They're not cnuts just because they haggle. I wish more people would haggle in this country, there is no such thing as a fixed price IMO.
  6. Unlucky mate! IMO you should deffo do a Turkish massage. They are famed for it and you will feel cleaner and more invigorated than you ever have been before!
  7. OK here it is. The top specs are how the car came in, and the bottom are after adjustments. As you can see I got it done in Kew. There are plenty places that can do it, just look on the net. They usually look up the car in their datalog to see what specs it should be and Supra should be there just like any other car. Good luck
  8. I can post a pic of the before/after settings for my car which got done a few weeks back if you want. I don't think the wheel size makes any difference. Not sure why you would need this, you just take the car to the garage and they do the job don't they?
  9. True I can understand bonnet vents ie the UK spec has them so they probably do serve a purpose. Also front end for access to FMIC... but sides and spats???
  10. Are they just vanity projects, or do they really serve a purpose? If so, what purpose, apart from weighing the car down? Is it actually proven that handling can be improved at high speed - or perhaps even hindered? I am a fan of stock myself, though I do agree some bodykits can improve the look of the car. But is that as far as it goes?
  11. Personally I think silver supras look better WITH a spoiler, but I have a gunmetal without. Have a look in my garage. ATEOTD it's what you prefer, simple as.
  12. I had the same problem until I bought these - problem solved!
  13. About 80bhp and a big kick when tubby 2 kicks in, and a lot more noise
  14. I know it's bad but I think it's funny too
  15. Yes hopefully this will happen once an assessment has been made.
  16. The police came round this morning again to take statements, but they said there wasn't enough wrongdoing to warrant another sectioning. This despite their off the record comment to me that she was 'evil' and that he couldn't face talking to her again because of her sheer vitriol and aggressive manner. These were '999 response police', and 'investigative police' will now take up the case to see what is to be done.
  17. You'd be surprised, everything is negotiable
  18. If I saw someone arrive in a roller I would do the following: a) if I was a client I would try and get a cheaper rate cos they are obviously earning too much money b) if I was a supplier I would charge them more cos they obviously can afford it!
  19. I like the thing he did with necro and mr.hyde, his best work IMO
  20. I can't imagine growing brambles in a greenhouse, surely not?!
  21. Gaz, I run my own business and when the going is good I am tight fisted so when the going is bad I don't have to panic and reduce my standards. I am sensible with cash at all times regardless of whether I am rich or poor, and as such I'd be interested in these expense claims just as much in the boom times as now. The circumstances are irrelevant, waste is waste.
  22. OK good idea I look forward to a strawberry tasting session this weekend (all in the name of research, of course)
  23. I had a look at this pdf and I find it difficult to understand how anyone, in any business, can regularly get away with paying £300+ for a hotel room, £200+ for dinner and £100+ for drinks. Then there is £800+ to hire a car for ONE day. Perhaps if the business can afford it, but this is the BBC we are talking about!
