Reading the reports I haven't seen anything that links her with violence of any kind?!

I know we don't know the details of the case, but I don't understand how she could have done such a murder. What was the motive for such an attack? It was viscious, with a knife, and with two potential witnesses, how could anyone but a proper nutter have done such a thing? They tried to profile her as a hedonistic party girl into sex & drugs etc, but so what there are 1000s of girls like that who don't go round slitting throats!

I'd disagree with that. In many parts of the world lights are switched off at less busy hours for obvious reasons. How many of us have sat there bored at a red light with all roads visible and nothing around whatsoever? It happens EVERY day eg pedestrians who press the button, but have long since walked off.... Having said that, the law is the law and the law is an ass.

Which, on the other hand, is great if you're a buyer. I get tons of stuff off ebay, and I sell a lot too. I'm in my 10th year on there now. It has to be remembered that the VAST MAJORITY of sales take place with no problem at all.

Another thing, I was turning left just as the flash went. Hopefully the camera was pointing straight on, which may have missed me! But after all these years getting away with minor things like that I've a feeling my luck has run out.... wait and see eh

Remove all your money from your paypal account. Remove the details of your credit card too. If he tries to get Paypal to refund him, there won't be any money there to refund.

My own fault of course. I'd just done ANOTHER 12 hour day and wanted to get home. Squeezed through an amber, just when it went red, and there was a flash. B0LLOCKs. What can I expect? Fine? Points? Both?

Since our second baby was born and I bought another company this summer it has dawned on me that I have precisely 0 hours a week ME time. Before there would be running, golf, car time and football now there is bugger all. Not a minute which is not taken up by family or work. Even as I write this at 9.30 Sunday evening the baby wants attention. Actually I lie. 2 weeks ago I was allowed out for 30 mins to buy a jumper for the winter.

I undertake all the time these days. I've lost all my patience. I always give them a bit of time to move over, then it's indicator on and see you later mate. I have no time for numpties sailing along in a world of their own. In response to the OP, of course people should learn to drive on motorways. I too am in agreement with a compulsory 10 year re-test. I can't think of any reason why not???

Possibly those should I/shouldn't I moments when approaching one of those speed bumps in the middle of the road that you have to straddle when a car is coming in the opposite direction. If one thing is designed to make two cars collide head on that is it.

The only thing striking about this is that he was potholing. There are probably 1000s of people who die similar - or worse - deaths trapped in collapsed buildings following an earthquake which we never hear about.
