It was for $55 in Chicago for my rental car. Daft thing is I had paid $26 for a parking ticket, but the ticket machine failed to print the ticket, hence the fine! So if I don't pay, what sort of hassle will I get, if any? Oh and I went through the E-Z Pass lane of the Toll Road too by mistake, thus avoiding the 80c toll. I am expecting to be put on the terrorism suspect list, and banned from travelling to the US for the next 20 years.

Of course the UK is the only country in the world where this kind of thing happens The lesson is never take cash for any kind of transaction over an amount you can afford to lose. If the seller insists on CASH ONLY - walk away. -

Did you say you're a National Trust member? I can't believe you've been everywhere already, there are 1000s of places! For places further away it's a great excuse to take the Supra out on nice long journey and stopover in a hotel
