  1. It's possible he was about to pick up his disabled mother from the shop. How annoying to return with her and the car's been clamped. Unless there's a means test for each and every person each and every time someone uses a disabled bay, there's no way to police it properly. All you can do is educate and shame those who abuse the rules. If it's any consolation, the laziness exhibited by the phookers who don't want to walk the extra few yards are contributing to their early death through obesity and lack of exercise.
  2. I was chatting to a mate on my mobile at the Shell station and a voice boomed out over the Tannoy 'Oi you at pump 32 turn off your mobile phone NOW". What a crock of crap. Not a SINGLE incident in the whole world has been reported of a mobile phone causing a fire at a petrol station. EVER. So what gives them the right to tell me what to do? Is it the law or not?
  3. Bob Geldof gobbed on me Jack from White Stripes knocked on my door asking when the studio next door would be open The girl from Elastica begged me to sell her the groovy sofa that I had just bought in Camden market My customers include Paul Weller, Shane McGowan and celebrity ginga Chris Evans I stood next to Gordon Ramsey at the baggage carousel in Singapore airport Bill Oddie was at the counter next to me in a hardware shop in Camden. He was complaining and giving it the old 'do you know who I am' I saw the back of the Queen's head as she was being driven in her car down Yarm High St
  4. For this reporter and his subject matter Up there with Stan Still and Annette Curtain
  5. Speak to Ibrar he did my 3 piece for £100 each
  6. I'm sure we will be seeing a few more LPG Supras on the road in the next few months. As petrol prices keep rising it means the low price of LPG becomes ever more cost effective to make the conversion.

    Horse s*^t

Mmm smell that country air! It's only fermented grass.
  8. Hi, du hast ein sehr schones Auto! Was denken die Deutshe leute?
  9. Well done mate, I still have the odd bad dream about exams and the last one I did was 20+ years ago!!!
  10. Still some options on the right, I doubt Beckham would have been 1st choice anyway: Beckham - out Lennon - possible out, deffo will not be fully match fit Joe Cole - possible, but not 100% fit and not playing much Walcott - rarely starting, inexperienced Gerrard - isn't a wide player, but has played there for England and will get exposed against decent teams SWP - ok form, but not a regular 1st choice for citeh Jinky Johnson - in form and got a chance of making it (did you see that goal against Sunderland) Glen Johnson - possible unfit, ok going forward but dodgy at the back
  11. I like it, it does look odd at first but you get used to it. I've only seen one once and it was dark, I had no idea what it was at first
  12. Interesting but I can't think of many worse jobs than working in a car assembly plant
  13. The only surprise is that this is 'news', I thought misplaced aid money was commonplace
  14. Looked like stock and very nice too

    Rusty nuts

I have this problem too. My nuts go all manky if I don't look after them. I have to get them out every now and then and rub them all over with an oil-based lube. Back to topic, surely there are some non-corrodable wheel nuts on the market?
  16. Why do town planners do this? One of my pet hates! It means you have to drive an extra mile to get to where you want to go, causing more pollution/congestion/time waste. Why not just let us turn ffs?
  17. I'll have one one day, just the small matter of finding the cash...
  18. What about the places nearby eg Stokenchurch, Wooburn Green etc
  19. We're looking up that way too. In fact anywhere that's 5 mins from the M40 between London/Oxford. Have you checked High Wycombe and some of the far flung places on the Metropolitan line going into Baker St.
  20. Thank fook I have an LPG car as the runaround. It also seems to make a mockery of the lorry drivers who claim European lorries steal their business by stocking up on 'cheap diesel' in Holland/France before popping over here to do their business.
  21. Your idea of 'execution' is nothing more than instilling even more violence (ie that of retribution and vengence) into our society, and what's worse is that it would be sanctioned by our very own government. Utterly abhorrent, uncivilised, simplistic and a step back to the dark ages. We as a society are much better than that. In this day and age we should be able to deal with any offender, regardless of their crime, with level headedness, and without resort to barbarity. There are means of punishment and rehab that have been developed over hundreds of years to get to where we are today and the result is a humane, free and just society which, believe it or not, is the envy of many other countries. Do you really think it is that bad in the UK? I'll bet you haven't travelled far, and a week in Ibiza doesn't count. You're a sadist who be "first in line to sign up for the job" of executioner. You also talk about our 'rapidly decaying planet'. What planet are you on?
  22. Those who can't write using proper English should be executed. In my opinion.
  23. First I have heard this. Have you got proof?
  24. That's right. The 10 year old kids who committed this crime should have been executed immediately and fed to the pigs. That's what they would do in Iran or Pakistan. We should adopt the policies of those countries, they know what they're doing alright.
