  1. How is it funny to watch someone break their back
  2. The people we used to use aren't in business any more so we need a new place that can print colour stickers, we usually print anything from 100 to 1000. Recommendations please
  3. Great vid, that was proper driving in those days! No gadgets or electronic gizmos (and no safety barriers either!)

    BPU Test Ride

I'm in Watlington off J6 of the M40 if you want a try out but like people have said before best wait until the weather has dried up a bit! BPU is easily the best mod you can do for the money, but DO NOT forget about your brakes/suspension/tyres etc because faster speeds DO need to be controlled
  5. To any microbiologist this is interesting but isn't really the big deal that they are making out. Everything is the same apart from using arsenic instead of phosphorus in the DNA. Look up cyanobacteria, or even anaerobic bacteria for that matter, or other extremophiles for examples of weird stuff.
  6. The more I think about it the more obvious it becomes. Fifa are accountable to nobody, they're in it for the money, and there is money to be made from building stadiums & infrastructure. There is also money to be made from bribery and selling dodgy tickets. None of which can be done if the WC was held in a developed country ie the UK. The Qatar decision is mystifying. Football played in SUMMER in the MIDDLE EAST? What the phuck are they thinking? Oh I forgot, they have plenty of CASH.
  7. Yes Russia included, they have to build ALL the stadiums from scratch! Plus they have no cheap internal flights, so the huge distances between cities will be a big problem.
  8. For FIFA to give underdeveloped nations the right to host the World Cup is a win:win for all concerned. The developing nations will be thrust onto the world stage where they will make money, create jobs and build infrastructure. Slip a few quid into Fifa's pockets and bish bosh sorted. Fifa will look good for giving the world cup to developing nations because they will be seen as doing good and helping out. Nice. Whereas if the world cup was given to a nation that's already developed, 1) it would be difficult if not impossible for Fifa members to get involved in corruption and bribes and 2) fifa would be seen as not helping the needy, underdeveloped world. So in other words, England will NEVER host the WC again* * unless we become like an undeveloped nation - perhaps fifa should visit Liverpool :-)
  9. Fifa, Russia, Middle East - what do they all have in common? Big money corruption and bribes. Say no more.
  10. Most songs are about 50mb each on average, and the size of the folder holding them is presently 40gb. I have to use wavs as some of the songs are or will be used as masters and it's a pita having duplicate sets of the same songs as MP3 and WAV. That FLAC looks interesting, I will look into that thanks!
  11. Yes memory stick sounds like a good idea, I will investigate. Animal yes I save my sounds as uncompressed wavs, wma is something similar but different for Windows users I believe.
  12. I need to get a new car radio and I noticed that a lot of them have usb connections or ipod connections as standard. It makes a lot more sense to have all my music on one player which I can just plug in to the headunit, like some kind of portable hard drive or something, rather than have 1000s of CDs all over the place, but I don't want anything to do with apple and ipod etc. Are there any worthy alternatives out there? I prefer WAV to MP3 so high memory would be good.
  13. OK mine's for sale. Come on AEM, try and stop me
  14. Has the forum traffic gone up or down since the change? I know what I'd put my money on.
  15. Yes the last set got lost when Matt was working on the car at Sextons, now he's not there anymore
  16. I lost them a week ago and they have not turned up. Searched the house top to bottom (several times), asked the neighbours/postman/local police/post office - zilch. Now I've been quoted £500 for someone to come out to make a new set and get immobiliser reprogrammed. OUCH. /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_angry.gif /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_angry.gif /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_angry.gif
  17. What kind of order is that list meant to be in?
  18. I last saw the key/immobiliser fob late last night so they must be somewhere in the house. My theory is one of our two toddlers got hold of them and they could have put them ANYWHERE, and we are in the middle of decorating/building so the place isn't exactly clean and tidy. So until I find them, there is no Supra meaning I cannot get to work without a LOT of hassle. The spare set went missing when Matt was working on the car at Sextons but then he left and I didn't get them back. So I'm stuck. Ideas and suggestions welcome, or do I have no resort but to pay £200+ to one of those mobile car key replacement services?
  19. I asked babelfish to translate this from English to Spanish: “Thanks for your reply, I will be in contact again very soon.” And this is what I got: “Las gracias por su contestación, estaré en contacto otra vez muy pronto.” So just to double check, I asked it again to translate that back into English, and it came up with this: “Thanks for its answer, I will be in contact with the enemy again in a moment.” WTF? Is there an online translator that actually works???
  20. I would if it was anything but a Lambo or Ferrari... so I'm out.
  21. Mark your words? I bet your car against mine!
