  1. Always a good move. What (if any) cars would you say come close for comparison?
  2. I was too busy watching the Big Fat Gypsies
  3. I record vinyl to my pc almost every day and have been for years as part of my job, so I've got the hang of it and making a cd is a piece of piss, let me know if I can help
  4. Even with Dalgleish in charge you're still going down Fail
  5. Radio 1 is ok if you're young... if you don't like it you'd better face up to the fact you're getting OLD!
  6. It is a bit daft and the censors haven't thought it through at all. The book is a snapshot of time, and unlike Stalin and his methods history should not be erased just because it's unplateable. FWIW I re-released this 1973 album a few months back and have had zero complaints about the title: http://s.dsimg.com/image/R-2436278-1283951326.jpeg
  7. Jailbird They will be hanging monkeys next
  8. I didn't know people do this kind of thing any more, it used to be commonplace for people to flash their lights to oncoming traffic if the police were ahead
  9. The politicians already know they are on thin ice when it comes to setting taxes and duty for fuel. If not, they would just slap 10p, 20p, even 50p on top right now instead of just a few pence. The point is, the money to reduce the deficit has to come from somewhere. If you believe it's your right to run a petrol-hungry supra AND have cheap fuel, you probably believe in fairies too.
  10. I always stay in on ADN (Amateur Drinking Night)

    Lpg

Nothing wrong with LPG, it's almost half the price of petrol for the same performance. I know someone running a 400bhp BMW M3 on the stuff. If you're doing a lot of miles the conversion might work out to be cost effective, but as has been posted earlier the benefits for congestion charge exemption in London soon appear to be over. So I'll be offloading my LPG Astra soon, any takers?
  12. Of all the 1000s of cars and he chose the Supra, I'm stunned!
  13. Just got something I won off ebay 18 months ago. I had given up on it ages ago and left -ve feedback AND got my money back off paypal. Next door had been holding on to it ALL THIS TIME! I see it as an early xmas pressie.
  14. Yes I take that stuff but like you say it just alleviates the symptoms temporarily. Then it starts all over again. My mate in Edinburgh had similar symptoms to you. He just had an operation on the NHS last week to widen the passages in his nose. Time will tell whether it works or not.
  15. Curry, vitamin C, bat wing soup... nothing can shift a cold. And I'm not going to the doctor saying 'Boo hoo I have a cold...' with all the other numpties. I'd rather just moan about it on here
  16. I have now had this cold for ages. Sore throat, green snot, coughing and sneezing EVERY day for 4 weeks now. It's getting to be a proper nuisance. Is that a record?
  17. Better to take it than risk getting flu. I studied flu vaccines at Uni. She will be fine.
  18. That wasn't a rant it was word vomit.
  19. I tried Chrome but unless I can find a way of importing bookmarks en masse rather than one by one then it's not happening. I might go back to Opera cos yes IE is warm dogs eggs
  20. Apparently it's a Firefox thing. Other Firefox users have had the same problem and Paypal assistants are gayers when it comes to sorting problems. In fact, Firefox is gay, it won't even let me play sound any more. I can't believe I will go through with it but it looks like IE will now be my regular browser.
  21. Even if I try and log in I just get the same page. Very odd not come across this before, I have a couple thousand pound in there too... http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/5571/gaypal.jpg
  22. I can't even log in. All I get is "Sorry, an error occurred after you clicked the last link" and it's been going on all day
  23. Motorways and main roads are fine. It's your driveway and local roads that are the problem.
  24. Grin and bear it get on EJ or Ryanair, you're lucky to be offered anything at all, the UK is practically closed due to the snow
