I'll be up for one of those days put my name down! I have only just got my Supra and I've already had the back end go on me in the wet. Not much but enough to make me wary. So for my sake (and everyone else unlucky enough to be on the same road as me!) let's have a learning day?!? There is no way I can get anything like a proper feel of the thing on the open road. It's frustrating when you can feel the potential under your feet. Having said that I think it will otherwise take at least 6 months, probably more, to get a proper hang of it. One thing is for sure and that's everything people have said about the power of this car is true!

Hi everyone, I was looking for a LONG time and now I have my dream car, just got it a couple of weeks back. It's Jap spec TT auto, late '97 GZ model with full leather interior, factory spec as far as I can tell, but with Cat 1 alarm, you need that in London. AND I had the spoiler removed, I'm in the minority I know, but I prefer it like that! Less wing, less bling... it looks the business just how it is, the spoiler spoils her! My back end went in the rain last night, just coming out of a corner from a roundabout. It just slid away as I put my foot down. I noticed right away and managed to regain control, I'll have more respect for rainy conditions now. Besides I've only just got the car (2 weeks back!) so it's a good lesson learned!

Apparently since 1 April 2004 no more VVT-i Supras made after Jan 1997 will be allowed to be legally imported to the UK for road use. Since I'm looking to get one, does this mean I cannot get any Supra made after Jan 1997? Are all TT Supras made after Jan 1997 VVT-i? I think this means that VVT-i Supras offered for sale at the moment (ie imported BEFORE the deadline) will be attracting a premium price, cos when they are gone they are gone and no more will be around. Not good for the customer. How long is this 'ban' gonna last? Help please!
