Constant moving of left leg/arm in stop-start slow traffic is a pain in da ass. If you get a car that will be driven often on open empty roads, if there are such things in the UK, get a manual.

True, when I was stopped in the US, the copper asked why I was 'nervous', which I was. I replied that it wasn't every day that I got stopped by the police, which he took as some kind of compliment. I would kiss ass all day long if it meant I would be let off, and I was.

I paid them a four figure deposit, and when the car did not come thru (found one elsewhere) I got full refund with no problems, so that is a good sign in my book
