  1. If our lass found out I am BPU she would pack me in a flash. She's no tree hugger but nevertheless doesn't approve cos of the emissions. So the other day when I came home with me new Veilside exhaust the extra noise with the full decat raised her suspisions... Her 'The car seems loud today? Is it OK?' Me 'Is it? Sounds normal to me' Her 'I'm sure it's louder, what have you done to it???' Me 'Nothing but I'm using Optimax fuel now, it's greener and better for your engine, maybe that's what it is' And I got away with it. He he. I also said it failed the mot cos of the non-working fog light. Which is partly true so I don't feel (too) guilty.
  2. went straight past me, no wave
  3. there was a thread recently bigging up soarers, have a search

    Hi new guy here

My facelift was stock when i got it BUT it had the big brakes, I thought they must have been added by the original owner, maybe not??? Everything seems cool re the car pics so yes get it checked out, white is a good colour cos it is a good base to paint over I suggest gunmetal grey

    Arse!!!

I would be very angry too! fcukin wnakers
  6. well you get it back, cos you only put the deposit down to buy on the basis that it passes the inspection
  7. When I set it up for my company Streamline was deffo the best deal. Once a year I check the competition and it is still the best. Depending on turnover you can negotiate better rates. At the moment we have 1.5% for credit cards and 30p per debit card on a turnover of about 10k per month
  8. can road angels detect mobile vans?
  9. Thanks Robert but being the lazy ass that I am I think I will try and just get the 2nd cat and see if I can get away with that, if I can get one that is
  10. As expected failed the mot on emissions cos of double decat, I had been told that I would not need them cos I have a new(ish) car ie 1997 facelift. So I thought I would chance it... no go:( . So the question is, do I need to replace BOTH cats to pass, or will just the second one be ok? And does anyone have one/both I can borrow (w london area) cos I left mine at Slowdog's place and I cannot get hold of him

    Automatic Supra

Get yourself a test drive and find out for yourself you will not be disappointed i can guarantee you that
  12. they should use chicanes instead of speed bumps, they slow traffic but without the damage
  13. i prefer exige too, ugly as sin but in a good way
  14. Click I've only done 18 of em and I am nearly 40. I lead such a sheltered life
  15. isn't there one that's unaffiliated to a football team ie Wimbledon (I thought they did not exist any more)
  16. they did it to me a couple years back WNAKERS Do not fret it can be fixed
  17. Yes I agree totally we have done brilliant to get to where we are now, I remember when the gates were locked in '86 and will never forget. Let's move up and on!
  18. Just got back. Great drive on empty roads in the sunshine, new veilside titanium exhaust sounds amazing! Shame about the result oh well
  19. hey it's not the '80s any more, football games are all about peace & love
  20. Got tickets from Steve McLaren wifes hairdresser whose son is a good mate of mine, nice to have friends in high places so we will be travelling in the supra tomorrow to watch the the boro win the uefa cup final (I hope)! Wish us luck!
  21. Like Sven says, one risky player out of 23 is worth it. Walcott could be the Michael Owen of '98!
  22. such a shame about rooney/owen cos with them we would have the best squad and chance since to win the thing since '66
  23. No Defoe either. Maybe him & King are ill with food poisoning or something
  24. not including Ledley King was a surprise. As a boro fan I am chuffed to bits to see downing in there
