  1. True, the car looks like a classy show car, all gleaming and smooth. The carbon fibre thing will look totally out of place. They are fine for racing style cars where they are there to serve a purpose, but classy they are not.
  2. i might be, just for the hell of it. French roads are irresistible
  3. The only way is to be persistent, and then when you feel like giving up, be more persistent. You WILL win, if you can be bothered, but more often than not they have these 'rules' to put you off making the claim.
  4. Apart from one then it's thumbs up all round... phew! Thanks everyone, now for some ICE. I'll let you know in a couple of years how it is progressing.

    Potential newbie

Get a TT and hold tight. You will only be disappointed with an NA in the long run. Mark my words!

  17. £thousands and £thousands for 10 secs of fun
  18. Ouch! A lot (not all) had the driver compartment still intact. If any of those were pre-'80s those cars (and drivers) will have been obliterated. Lucky we live in these times.
  19. Still a good vid tho if you haven't seen it! 9000 rpm anyone?
  20. i hope the new calendar doesn't have a 4 way split like this month, not too keen on it myself
  21. The most common fault is crash following inability to control back end in the wet. But for stock car there is nothing more to add than what's already been listed, when you start tweaking & modding, THEN the problems usually appear
