It's an Astra Estate, and I hate it. Only 5 years old, but so drab and boring. The seating position is like driving a bus. But I MUST get it cos that wnaker Ken Livingstone is extending the congestion charging zone in London next Feb, and I'm not too keen on paying £8 a day to commute to and from work. Hence the LPG car. Now the Supra will be a weekend car. My petrol bills will be halved, but oh how I'm gonna miss it during the week

Today on the M4 on the inside lane crawling along at 60mph was a black Prosche Carrera 4S. It was going slow and obviously not up for a run. Then I noticed a blue light on top (not switched on), the kind that goes round and flashes like police cars in the olden days. I thought that was illegal. Or was it some kind of super-fast 'unmarked' police pursuit car?

I don't mean the 'front' window lol, just the door windows and rear. Obviously you have to be able to see for reversing, and that's hard enough without having a dark window to look thru, esp at night. Perhaps my dream of having windows you can see thru Ok from the inside, but not from the outside (like sunglasses) don't exist then

Are there any tints you can get where it's clear and ok to see out, but hard to look in? I'm thinking of getting them done but all I can find are tint jobs where it makes it dark to look out as well as in. Surely there is way round this?

Not a nice way to go. Nothing to do with the fact she was American, it could have been anybody. But that doesn't change the fact that the US is chock full of obese gun-toting burger-munching war-mongering half-wits even if they do have better Supras than us

Did anyone see them? 1000s of the things all over the place, making a right racket. Apparently protesting against their factory closure, though how that could be avoided by crawling thru stiff London traffic I will never know

I've been thru 2 winters without RLTC and by driving carefully I've managed just fine like most of us, but like everyone says who has RLTC it adds that extra barrier of protection which I think is so important, it's not just the car but potentially for your life as well. And your passenger's lives. So that's why I am getting it fitted at last, not to tempt fate.

Keep us up to date with the sentencing, though we just KNOW that it's going to be way too lenient, esp now they pleaded guilty

OK problems solved: 1 - do it in the middle of the night on your day off 2 - see answer to problem 1 3 - if your pc plays dvds, then it will be quite easy. Tell us if that is the case and we will help you! Oh there is another problem - with your busy schedule, how will you cope will all the endless hero worship and messages of thanks when you finally get it sorted? :d

Smackheads aren't evil, they're just stupid. The drug they crave causes them to commit crime, which they would not do had they not had a habit. Nobody commits crime on the scale of a smackhead just to buy booze and fags, so the comparison doesn't work.

Some sense at last! All drugs should be lagalised. Taxed, licensed and legalised. No adverts allowed. Education provided. Nearly all petty crime would stop, and drug dealers go out of business.
