My missus got this for my son for xmas and the first thing he did was look for a Supra... and was gutted there isn't one in there! The usual Lambo/Ferarri etc and even the WRX, Evo and stupid things like the Peugeot 206 but no Supra?! Surely there is a 'fast car' book that includes the Supra that I can get him to make up for the disappointment. Recommendations welcome, even if out of print I am sure I'll find one sooner or later.

Mine is gunmetal and yours is deffo quicksilver I'd like to think gunmetal is the more desirable, but then again I am biased Both colours are highly regarded by Supra owners, they suit the lines and shape really well

My advice is try an auto before you mock it. A lot of people on here, myself included, thought a manual supra was the only one to have. There are a lot of advantages to an auto, price being one of them. See if you can get a test drive off someone and then decide.

So why is it, when all the other cars in my street remain clean, is my Supra always covered in bird sh1t? This isn't a one-off occurence, time and time again over the years my car has been targeted by birds for unloading their dirty cargo. Nobody else's car is touched, just the Supra. I park in several spots, and never under trees. There must be a reason behind this, and I'm flumoxed.

Probably about 10-15 miles, I can see some wear on the sides where it must have made contact with the road

The Supra was pulling hard to the left today and when I stopped the front left tyre looked quite flat, I went to the garage and it was only 10psi. Will this have damaged the tyre so much that I will need a new one? I'm a bit wary of going to a garage to ask because they bound to say I do even if I don't just so they can have my £300 for a new one; a lot of money of course, which I'd rather keep in my wallet.

Looking back I think there may have been something in the back of my mind telling me that 1) a Vectra is often an unmarked police car and 2) even if it wasn't it's only a Vectra - what am I trying to prove?

Nice day today wasn't it, and I was off to Whifbitz for some servicing work. So off I went down the M40 as usual, and for some reason I thought I'd stay at 80mph all the way instead of the usual 80, 90... etc etc. So despite some nice stretches of open road I kept cruising at that speed, and after 10 mins a black Vectra followed by an X5 came up right behind me. There was traffic in front so I couldn't have gone faster if I wanted to, but the Vectra was by now right up my tailpipe. This really gets on my t1ts, but this time instead of touching the brakes I didn't bother, and when the cars in front moved out of the way, instead of switching O/D off and flooring it I just moved to the inside lane. So the Vectra zoomed past me, as did the X5, and I thought nothing of it. Until about 2 mins later when the Vectra, which was an unmarked police car, had blue lights all over it and had pulled in the X5 to the hard shoulder. I am so, so lucky. These kind of things always happen. Every now and then I take it easy and slow down, and plod is just around the corner. Whenever I'm going for it WOT, he is nowhere to be seen.
