From what people say so far it does seem to be a safe car esp. that many of us drive at high speed. Most crashes that we hear about appear to be of the 'losing the back end round a roundabout at 30mph' type than anything else. Or maybe the Supra driver is just a better driver than most? I know for one that at high speeds I'm concentrating on what I'm doing, not daydreaming or gossiping like most other drivers

Bit of a morbid topic I know, but does anybody know of any deaths or serious injuries that happened to someone crashing their Supra? I was thinking this cos if for instance I died from a crash, nobody in this club would know. Or if I was injured I might just not even tell the forum about it. In the 3 years I have been a member I haven't heard of anything bad like this, but surely with the speed and power of these cars and the way we drive them something bad must have happened in this time?

So in the UK we have a set limit of alcohol in the blood for everyone regardless of how much it affects their ability to drive. Just like no matter how good or how bad a driver we are, we ALL have to adhere to the 70mph limit on the motorway. In the US they have the speed limit thing too which is much more rigorously enforced than our speed limit, but their level for alcohol tolerance seems to be discretionary?

So in the US if I drank a few pints and could do all those tests no problem, which I and many other people probably could, then even if I am technically 'over the limit', I'd get away scott free? Dunno how Americans can get pissed anyway my piss is more alcoholic than their beer

Oh I bet that hurt!!! Quick question - why is it that the USA with all its resources and technology still relies on time consuming, ridiculous and primitive roadside tests like 'walk in a straight line' and 'put your finger on your nose' when testing for DUI when they could just use a BREATHALYSER and 10 seconds later it's all sorted?!

I'd give it a go. I used to be a steeplejack on chimney 700 ft high in the days before health & safety made you wear a harness . The Grand Canyon is one of the best places I have ever been to. One mile deep and 13 miles across IIRC amazing go there if you ever get the chance.
