  1. I always snipe, so it could literally be anytime
  2. ...what would it be? (Leading on from the other thread re 'best mod'
  3. Difficult question, it's like 'If you had a stock supra, and you could only do ONE mod - what would it be'? In fact I think i will start a new thread
  4. That celica wins hands down. Oh the shame! Where to begin?
  5. probably had a tank of v power once and that's about it
  6. When I got rid of mine cos they were all discoloured I just left them at the garage cos they said they were worth nowt.... oh well
  7. My lower hose blew off under 1.4 bar boost today cos the metal bit of the intercooler that the hose attaches to wasn't quite long enough. So I went back to the garage and mark cut the hose to shape it around the pipe more snugly. It fits on much better now and didn't blow off on the way home this time.
  8. Lunchtime today, about a mile behind there was a silver one n all
  9. Nice one, give me a shaven haven any day over a tramps beard
  10. Cannot tell the difference between scotch, bourbon or brandy. It is all the same to me
  11. Can't be true, or how can it be that everyone who has aftermarket suspension (incl me) raves about how much better it is? My car on stock suspension was very soft and floaty at high speeds, now it's firm and grippy (with Tein Super Streets) and has much better steering response. Same with tight cornering. It's made things so much better than before.
  12. Seemed to be behaving as there was police car keeping order, in Herts area A1 north
  13. Assuming you're just doing it to save money, you have to work out how many miles you will have to do at say 95p a litre against 40p a litre (assuming same miles per litre) to make it worth it in the long run. It will probably take a few years, and that is assuming the government don't slap tax on LPG. They did that with diesel, once upon a time diesel was way less expensive than petrol, SO people bought diesel cars - now diesel costs MORE than petrol!

    A Friday Joke...

    haha made me laugh :-)
  17. You say it smells, but so does petrol?! Petrol vapour is more flammable and dangerous than LPG, so the 'danger' issue is incorrect. I got a factory-fitted LPG Astra so I can use it in the london congestion zone for free. The performance is the same as petrol, but £20 for a tank, not £40/50 like it would be for petrol. The only downsides I see are finding someone to service it, but just like finding someone to fix my supra, once I've found someone competent then it's not an issue any more. Also not all garages sell the stuff, but again once you know where they are, then problem solved. You can always run on petrol if you run out of LPG anyway.
  18. No-one in their right mind is gonna marry any of those kids once they're grown up, and if they're banned from sex outside marriage, it's the end of the line for that particular family
  19. You might as well fit it esp if you have the thing already, but I know Mark was mad busy and will have run out of time. Another day then! I have Veilside Titanium exhaust. Was yours the silver car?
  20. The kids should be taken away from nutters like this and put into care. Otherwise they will grow up into bigots full of hatred, just like their parents.
  21. The RR should be in there anyway if you have a decat. Boost controller is important, as the outside air temp varies you will need different settings for winter and summer. Also you just might not want to run on full boost all the time. Did you see my gunmetal car there btw when you picked yours up?
  22. I had a celica 4 years ago and the upgrade to a supra was a simple decision that I have never regretted, it's a completely different world. Just tell your missus they are safer, better and more economical and you'll be ok :-)
