  1. As new HKS VVTi 264 cam kit and controller on ebay item number: 140053226774.
  2. Had my car insured with sky, renewal qote was £1700 for my age 55 and my son 28 as named drivers. Agreed value £21,000. I feel that the car is worth more than £21,000 as this is the price we paid for the car and we have spent £20,000 on it in mods. I tried Demontweeks they gave me a quote of £1060 and an agreed value of £40,000. Needless to say I have gone with Demontweeks. May be an option if you have a high power high value supra.
  3. Autronic 500R direct fire CDI unit, as new never used. One of the most powerfull and reliable units you can buy cost over £500 will take £350 no offers.
  4. Our car made 685 rear hub hp on BP ultimate, this was a conserative tune for road fuel. It made 849.6 on race fuel with 20 degrees more advance, we had a significant boost leak on the VW manifold so should make more.
  5. No but Hull uni did say they would translate them for me, did not go ahead with it as I decided not to use the unit.
  6. Thanks Gaz. We have looked at these parts and yes it will take Adam a long time to make the moulds but he can make top quality parts at a fraction of the cost. As the car is only a hobby we think the saving is worth the time. As for grip I feel that suspension set up tyres and diff are far more important than weight over the wheels. I do think that shifting any weight you can from the front to the back to aid weight disribution is good
  7. Only run the car down the strip in heavy rain on grip at all, will have a go next summer. Missfire due to cock up by piston supplyers machined to small, will not hold pressure at full boost. We are going to make carbon fiber back hatch, doors, door linings and any other parts that can be moulded.
  8. Thanks for the good comments guys, the car is an ongoing project. We will be working on further weight reductions and more power for next summer.
  9. My VVTi 6 speed will go off the clock in 5th @ 8000 rpm. Want to do an acurate top speed run when its back in action.
  10. No had to withdraw, can't run the car at full boost. Custom pistons machined to small by supplyers in USA need to fit new pistons.
  11. Good luck to all those taking part hope you have a good day and dry weather
  12. Yes it's all still boxed, the cam has been taken out of the box and put back but has never been run. Controller box is as new, never been in the workshop.
  13. New never fitted HKS valcon plus Vcam Pro VVTi cam controller with HKS 264 VVTi inlet cam. £950 + vat new, accept £600.
  14. Sorry guys I will have to withdraw my car. We had a misfire on high boost thought it was plugs or ignition, turns out its mechanical. dont want to blow the motor so can't run at full power.
  15. I will be coming up the A1 from the south so scotch corner or Barnard castle would be better for me.
  16. Iwould be happy to run my car but have not had chance to do a time yet. Went to Elvington this weekend but heavy rain by the time we were ready to run. Car weighs 1460 kg and has 849.6 rear hup hp and 633.6 ft/lb torque so on paper should be reasonable. Let me know if any places still available.
  17. I am still OK let me know times and place to meet up.
  18. Using Blitz ID with Turbosmart external waste gate.
  19. Thor gave me a lot of advice when I was fitting my AEM. They have just maped it to full power, 850 hub hp @7700 rpm.
  20. Hi Wez will try to make this one. On holliday but back on 1st. If I cant get there Adam will want to bring the car, hope for a dry day.
