  1. Set of VVTi coils and leads done 35,000 miles working fine when removed.
  2. Does anyone know when the Elvington events are on? Is the scooby shoot on 27/5/07 and top speed day on 8/7/07 open to rwyb?
  3. Hi mark times as per slip Reaction + .4489 60 ft 2.3171 330 ft 5.6289 1/8 ET 8.1421 mph 104.39 1000' ET 10.1760 1/4 ET 11.9618 1/4 mph 131.66
  4. We would like to have a go I am sure we can get the 1/4 time down, we can run up to 850 rwhp @2 bar and 8000 + rpm I think we can take most cars on at top speed runs. Our car is not a drag car but it is a good all rounder. Once I have an uprated propshaft fitted I can run full power this will be done soon.
  5. Hi Mark Adams times from pod on 21st: 1/4 ET 11.96 1/4 mph 131.66 Using road map and road fuel, 295/30/18 Toyo R888s. We can get this time dowm with more practice, once we have the best out of it on raod map we will run the race map with another 200hp. Doing a great job Mark.
  6. Did look at MT ET Street but not available in 18s and I only have 18' wheels. Went for Toyo R888s much better than my usual road tyres but not as good as drag radias.
  7. We did a standing start on a smooth pice of back road on the way home it had better grip the the drag start area. Set up the AEM two step on Sunday we will give that a try next time. I think with our car second gear may be a better idea.
  8. Best we could do was 11.96 @ 131, this is our first year drag racing we have a lot to learn about geting the power down. Set up the two step rev limiter now so should help getting off the line and full throtal gear change should help, taget is low 10s. Very good day out good to see so many nice Supas and meet up with people.
  9. Going to run the car road map only sent the money via paypal hope its a dry day, need some good grip.
  10. Thanks Rich Who suppiles the ET streets in the UK? I would be intrested in geting some prices before santapod on the 21st.
  11. Thanks rich, we are looking at tyre options now. We want the tyres that will give the best results at Elvington. The MR2 turbos were running Toyo R888s and went very well 11.2 I think very good considering the surface condition. We dont have any traction control so looking at using AEM program or Race Lodgic system.
  12. Yes it was us, Adam driving. The track was very slippy he could not get the power down in 1st and 2nd. The best we could do was 12.8 @ 125 mph. We fitted some second hand potenza SO2s to the rear they did not have anything like the grip of the SO2As that we run on the road. On the road we can usually put the power down in second. Nevertheless we do need to do a lot of work on low speed traction control. We now have spare set of 18 x 10.5 rims so we can try some more grippy tyre options.
  13. We would be happy to take part, we will get some times done ASAP.
  14. I will try to make the 17th let you know ASAP.
  15. Good luck Rob we do all our own work it takes longer but you have the sense of achievment and satisfaction when its finished.
  16. I use an ATC clutch in my RZ-S six speed. I have the heavy duty pressure plate and copper ceramic race disc, I use an RPS flywheel. The ACT flywheels look good but could not get one so used RPS. It is heavy in trafic but will hold up to 800 ft/lb torque, a lot for a single plate clutch. It is good to use it feeds in well and can slipped it is not just on or off. Hope that is of some help.
  17. I think I still have the igniter from my VVTi supra, let me know if you still need one and I will have a look.
  18. Don't chip it, keep it std or go for BPU when you have the cash.
  19. Looks very good hope the running in goes well and it performes as you expected.
  20. I use Tein Flex on my car it gives a much smoother ride than you would think. The roads in my area are very rough, I have 245/35/18 on the front and 295/30/18 on rear and it copes very well even at high speed.
  21. We had the front cam journal machined to fit the housing extra oil feed hole and groove cut. Through the motor build project we have tried to be innovative rather than fitting bolt on kits. Sometimes things just dont work but usually its ok.
  22. Sorry it is a 264 cam. I run 272 non VVTi cams in my VVTi head the car makes 850 rear hub hp on a 72mm turbo do I need VVTi? Also I did the conversoin some time ago no one at that time could map the AEM to run the VVTi.
