  1. CJ almost fell over saturday night when he say my missus driving out the pub car park in my car!
  2. PM me his registration and i will get his address:angry:
  3. Right,My girlfriend Emma is 22 and my car is indeed at TT6,This is some pictures from the first time she drove it going into Trax this year,Since then she has had over 130 dialed in has raced lots of stuff in it,When we first got together she didnt have a clue about cars,Now shes a petrol head! Does this sufice for your question?
  4. Or £**** if the car was lost,I know the justice system sucks as ive been on the end more times than you would believe and it never seems to go in my favour but well atleast the car is ok and no major harm has come to it
  5. That sounds like it makes sense,The car runs poor because it is not getting in the extra fuel it needs when its cold,If the lambda sensor is going duff then it would give readings saying that there is too much unburnt fuel in the exhaust system so the ECU would then reduce the fueling to compensate
  6. Was this anything to do with what happened on saturday night colin? After our short and crap signaled conversation on sunday IO thought worse things were afoot

    tyre size

Im running goody F1's F+R 265 rear and 255 front, being honest I found that the supra washes out quite a bit on the front end but going wider on the front reduces that loads
  8. being honest i cant imagine the council forking out for both tyres but all you have to think about is yeah so you replace 2 front tyres next time round when you would have had to change them both anyway and youve now got a good spare which you can keep or flog off to someone for a little profit to go in the back burner
  9. well heres one thing to try before you do buy a new battery,Just connect jump leads from another car, dont start in or anything just check all the wierd stuff thats been happening,If you alarm has bonnet pin switches then close them down so the alarm thinks its shut and check the voltage with the alarm on and see how much of a current drain your getting?
  10. Picke dthe car up at 11pm on the Friday then had some 18 inch lenzo's fitted at 8 am on the staurday,Already had a turbo timer and lower bumper splitter and also 2 new turbos after 3 weeks! Not out of choice either!
  11. The safe limit of flow is meant that with say 550cc injectors running at 80% its all gravy, but if you start running higher % then you could be looking at running lean as the injector cant suply enough fuel, what the cc represents is the flow rate per minute, say for another quick example you could put 1000cc injectors on to a mini and they would barely trickle but it wouldny give the car 1000bhp though Does this help at all mate?Sorry if it didnt but then thats more because of me rambling on!
  12. I totally agree with what you guys are doing,I owned a 3 litre rear driver before my supra and I had hours of fun getting the back end out and learning to drift it in a few of my local car parks,If there are anyone who has a local race circuit that does a skid pan course i would highly recomend it as I was 18 and done a course down at castle coombe race circuit and that really gave me a good starting point and that was what made me realise how much fun it was,With the supra albiet a bit on the lardy side youve got a bloody good platform to learn properly how to slide and control it,Youve got good power and a long wheel base plus your sat close to the back end so you can feel it when the back end really lets go,Im with another forum which recently rented out castle coombe,From the off it was very wet on the circuit and most of us came a croper at one point but youve got alot of room for error and you know that everyone is going the same way,But bcause it was soaking you could really throw the back end out and not worry about bouncing it off kerbs,I had a drift on down the straight at over 90! One of the wierd and wonderful things about sliding the car round is letting go of the steering wheel,I know that some people out there wouldnt comprehend doing that and probably think im mad but when you get it really out of shape and the back end snaps hard all you can do is let go of the wheel,If you try and catch it then the wheel will snap back and could in extreme cases snap thumbs but if you try and catch it there it wont happen and you will spin,Instead let go and let the car find its own line then steer it round the problem then,The front wheels will always want to follow the line of least resistance which is normally the direction in which you want to go Now go and kill some rubber!:flame Dev
  13. Its on the drivers side innar wing and it should state the chassis number(JZA8000*****) and the model code which on mine is ALFQZ which are the main numbers that toyota want if you order parts
  14. A standard battery should suffice unless you are running serious ice in which case go to your local car audio place but thesies are around £250 each!
  15. Just a quick note,Odds on in favour that it has had a window smashed in it at one pointbut when you adjust it get a marker pen and put a mark above the washer then wind the window down to relieve the pressure off the window as you adjust it,As you close the door to the glass should be sitting just against the rubber then it should push up behind the seal when its fully closed up,Ive fitted car windows for over 5 years for Autoglass so if you are having a few problems try popping into your local branch and see what they can do otherwise

    Hks Ssqv Bov

Had exactly the same problem with the ov on mine and found out that it was just basically faulty manufacturing on behalf of the plastic piece that goes into the bov, just replaced mine fired it up and it was fine, shouldnt really be anything too major,I had to get a T piece one for mine when it went and tried alsorts of motorfactors/dealers and ended up getting one from B&Q!!!
  17. If you tick the boxes on the right and click the shown at the bottom of the screen he is looking at building something like the first 3,like i said not sure exactly sure which route he is going down
  18. Rich! Keep this one under wraps mate,I want to scare people when we go to the club meets with our other forums!! Namely Drexel,G1sky and so on!!! Its gonna take me a while to get the moolar together to get the rest of the bits for it the money was originaly put aside to do the headgaskett and cams etc,the gasket is leaking a little drop of oil so I want that done asap,However ive got a new job so the car will be garaged over the winter while i save my pennies and get it all hopefully in one foul swoop!
  19. I know what im saying does sound like pie in the sky stuff but heres a link to a power graph from a web site that he has something to do with,With the relay that I have as a by pass if you sit on tick over the pump will intermitantly cut in and out to maintain a set pressure I came from Torque Developments international if anyone else wants to enquire about it and tell me ive done wrong, but anyway this should be the graph from the TO4R.com website Impressive!
  20. Colin is a happy man!! Glad to hear that youve got the gains you were expecting mate,The car flys at a rate of knots that can only be measured by lightyears!I can vouch that it is a very quick car after tearing up some dual carriage in Swindon late one sunday evening,The car just pulls like a sex starved elephant facing a brothel, good on you matey! Cheers Tim
  21. Um cant disclose too much information but a very good mate of mine bought it stateside with the intention of building a monster and has decided to go a different route, what it is I dont know but he reckons the power figures might start with 13**!
  22. Thanks to everyone!!! Alex your a legend! Leett, sorry mate a spanking tubby at that money cant be missed! Terry,You will no doubt be recieving a call/mail soon!
  23. If I told you all that I got a complete kit including manifold, induction and wastegate for £700 would I upset people???:flame Dev thanks for your replies btw i will get ordering!!!! Also what about an spark amplifier set up?
  24. Ive recently picked up a serious bargain on a GReddy T78 Turbo that was way to good to give up on,Right I neeed a little guidance as its j-spec tt6 with a mines ECU,ARC fmic and a fse fuel pump.I know that the fuel pump wont be up to the job and would probably need a warlboro pump or 2! I need a little help really on what parts need replacing and what to replace it with, the clutch is standard but im guessing that will have to be binned and it is running on 450cc injectors does anyone out there know what size injectors would be man enough for the job, would 720cc be enough? Any comments would be gratefully recieved as I know enough about this but not all of what I really need to know! Cheers! Tim
