  1. 4th is good for me, and could join M8 at Newhouse so could link up with any Glasgow convoy! Daylight would be better for viewing cars and having effect on M8 but appreciate that not everyone is off!
  2. I'm up for this...but depends on where and when..
  3. Would'nt recommend the double-sided sticky trim tape to fasten skirt on top of sill as may lift skirt high enough to catch bottom of door. A thin smear of Tiger seal or similar should do the trick. Won't be quite as easy to get on and off in the future but usually running a stanley blade under it lifts it off without any probs.
  4. Mine started something similar just yesterday but is a lot louder than just a 'chirp'. Initially thought it was a caliper problem but pressing brake does not change the noise. Then thought it was brake splashguard catching on disc but a check shows it not catching anywhere. Problem disappears after car driven any distance or at speed, but if left parked it starts up again after a short distance. Definately something to do with wheels/transmission as it happens at a particular part of the rotation of the wheel and is coming from the rear offside. Sounds like a dry bearing...but I'm no expert...any suggestions?...anything need oil/fluid at the rear? Could it be the brakes? answers on a postcard.......
  5. Count me in...see you at Burger King. Hope weathers good.
  6. Just saw this...sounds like fun....I'm up for it
  7. Just phoned around for quotes myself...got protected fully comp with Bell Direct for the amazing price of £365. Actually would have been £486 if I had gone alone, but adding my partner (female) as named driver reduced it even further! Mind you, I suppose being 50, with a full no claims bonus and living in a low risk area goes along way to keeping cost down!
