Well, if its working correctly, you'll only have 2 forward speeds. AFAIK the GM Powerglide 'box is the only one around like that these days. They tend to stick them in drag cars so you don't lose time changing gear over the 1/4. If it is one, its not a bad 'box, but you need to optimise the axle ratio to get it to max out just as you cross the line.
