  1. Just landed in Denmark on business and got a cab to Roskilde. Now drinking lovely Danish beer in my hotel veranda in the warm sunshine. Drove past a Black supe with lovely shiny wheels.
  2. Ah and I forgot to mention the Supes Class B win at Jap Show back in 2006 see here. http://www.japshow.co.uk/r_jap2006.php This was just before the car started getting 11.x second quarters.
  3. Right folks this is the last price drop. £7995. Someone must want her??
  4. Ahhh Bobbeh me old mate how are you and your bro? Well I hope, really nice to see you about again. I was passing through Bedford area today and got bloody stuck on the 421 behind a school coach that went up in flames! All safe and sound thankfully. Sorry but she's got to go to a better home. But not if people don't turn up to look at her as they said they would!!! The price is a wee bit negotiable by the way kids. It is a top motor. I'll PM you Bobbeh for a catch up. J.
  5. Anyone heard from BIG BLUE? He was supposed to be viewing my Supe tomorrow?
  6. Hi yes just seen your PMs and mail. Will respond now.
  7. Now reduced to £8875 for forum folks. Bargain!!!!!
  8. 2 x Mickey Thompson ET Street Drag Radials (255/50/R16) fitted to 16" OEM Toyota Supra wheels. These took 1 whole second off my quarter times at Santa Pod. The wheels are stock 16" (the smaller the wheel and higher the sidewall the better for 1/4 mile times) and have been resprayed silver so are in A1 condition. The tyres have lots of tread left on this pair and are street legal. I sometimes used to drive to Santa Pod in them from home for convenience. I also passed an MOT with MT ET Streets on the car! I'm selling the Supra so won't need these. Cost me £320 plus the resprayed wheels at £180. I'm looking for £195 ono (plus £25 for UK shipping if you can't collect) PM or email me if you want to put an offer in for them. Pics here - http://www.moat.eclipse.co.uk/ETWheels/wheels.htm
  9. Doesn't have to be £10K folks............ (sorry obvious weekend bump)
  10. Hey was just answering didn't mean to sound abrupt sorry if I did. Just seemed to be quite a rich mixture with 8 injectors!
  11. No it's not running them as you can see they have no fuel lines going in. I disconnected the control unit and fuel supply but left the injectors in to keep options open.
  12. Well guys it is that day. She is for sale. I have owned Supras for over 10 years and this car since 2004 when I bought it from another MKIVSupra.net club member. He bought it from the Japanese Import Centre in 2000 for £17500. It is a beautiful car that turns heads, great engine sound, super fast. There are videos of it beating Skylines and Porsches on 1/4 mile runs on youtube. It has been my pride and joy for a long time but I have had company cars for everyday use so this has been a weekend fun car (hence the low mileage - only 2000 miles use in 3 years!). What I wanted and what she is now is a monster road car with the ability to hit the track and drag strip with a high and robust performance level. With my circumstances as they are I have no weekend time left for a car like this. So she (the car) is sat in the garage doing nothing. She (the car) deserves better but I just don't have time hence the sensible, but sad, sale. Time for someone else to enjoy this beast. The cost of the modifications and the labour to fit them totals over £25,000 excluding the cost of the car! She is one of the fastest in the club (2nd in the forums 'Supra Chat' drag racing stock/hybrid turbo hall of fame for a long time, 1st for a fair while!) I still have the OEM torque converter if required. The stock wing is back on the rear but I also have the straight APR rear wing if people want it. Pics and specs here - http://www.moat.eclipse.co.uk/supra.htm Video clips here - http://www.youtube.com/user/castroltom/videos The price is at £6995 ono. Put an offer in it's nearly summer!!!) PM or email me if you ARE seriously interested in buying her and want to take things further. Justin
  13. Hi Keron have any come in recently? Cheers Justin
  14. Mine has got rust near the glass seal and has lots of holes where I have messed about with various rear spoiler ideas over the years! Would cost me silly money to repair. Anyone got one to offer or know of a breaker that I could try? Please PM if you do.
  15. Sound, logical advice that's what I was after thank you.
  16. I've copper greased shims etc but thought maybe I need to take out the pistons and seals and rub them with a little brake fluid. Out of the box they have a little cardboard dust on the surface which got me a little OCD about cleanliness. Do people remove brand new pistons and seals from their brand new calipers to lube them up a bit with fluid? Cheers Justin
  17. Yes thanks the fluid I have purchased is dot 4 track temp spec as supplied by Chris Wilson but it was how to flush out my old crappy fluid and with what new kit was the question really.
  18. Sorry to jump in here but I also want to do a brake fluid flush, bleed to accomodate my new rear calipers and track day spec fluid. Are the products you can buy for one man brake fluid flush and bleeding any good? I really hate the old stomping on the pedal and wasting tons of fluid technique. There is one here - http://www.brakebleeder.com/technical.php Any tips, guides on one man Supra system brake fluid flushing and bleeding would be gratefully received. Cheers Justin
  19. Great thanks for that will get in touch with Chris.
  20. Just bought some UK rear calipers and disks from Nic to better my stopping power. I want them for weekend driving but track day use also. I presume stock pads won't do? Are there any that people rate far and above the others that don't cost the earth? (I have 6 Pot APs on the front btw) Happy New Year Justin
  21. So was it you Mikael? Near Odense Train Station Tuesday night at about 18:30?
