  3. well i'm going to do some more investigating, but i'll definitely be part ex'ing my n/a for a tt by the end of the year. I'm after an auto and it looks like Vine Place in Durham always have a decent supply in
  4. I'm still pretty new to supras and I've been doing some extra reading up on the TT's Is there much of an obvious power diff between driving a Import/UK spec?... It's just that I never new there was a bhp diff between them.
  5. Afraid i cant make the meet still way too busy trying to get our sodding garage opened up for business
  6. Haha made the change from a FWD fto to the RWD supra in March this year, but hadnt really driven in any bad weather... That was until the monsoon we had last week. Safe to say that was a fun drive... fish tailing it at every corner. I need to starting juding that accelerator a bit better LOL!
  7. it's just feels slower at accelerating when the overdrive is off... may be it's just me lol
  8. Can anyone recommend a decent place to get a rolling road test done in Tyne & Wear. I want to know the exact figures mine is putting out before i do any mods to it.
  9. hang on then.... if O/D off disables 4th gear then surely im right in saying the car will drive slower with it off???... my car just feels noticebly slower with the O/D off
  10. christ! I started this post and it's doing me head in now. From a bit of experimenting with the O/D i've come to the final conclusion: O/D on - the car feels faster and gets into 4th gear O/D off - the car doesnt accelerate as fast and can't reach the top speed does this sound about right???...
  11. Hey, I'm still pretty new to Supras and was wondering... 1. Do you ever take the overdrive off?? because i dont 2. Does the TT have the same gearbox as the Turbo and N/A??
  12. oh i see i prefer the silver effect to the black plastic
  13. A friend of mine has the exact same model and year as me, but his headlights dont have the side lights built in. Instead he had to have them mounted under the indicators. Also the moulding around the lights is black plastic. Whereas mine have the side lights in the headlights and the moulding is silver coloured Mine http://www.project-fto.com/09-07-04_1938.jpg Any reasons for this?...
  14. ahhhh now why didnt i think of that duh duh duh , the round abouts are very close to petrol stations... never thought of that in fact the one where it happens the most is right next to one thanx for that
  15. Lately, i seem to be loosing the back end easily when cornering. I'm not doing daft speeds and it mostly happens on round abouts. It only happens when I'm turning right, for the life of me I cant seem to lose the back end when I'm turning left (and believe me I've tried) Tyres - fine Shocks - fine Brakes - fine any ideas?...
