  1. That would have been me! I've just got back from my day out Apologies for the random shouts, my Supe is at the garage getting some clutch repairs, the ST is my daily driver, but it's nice to see Supra's out and about and fortunate that you'd stopped at the lights so I could say hello! Nice looking Supra, looked good approaching in my mirrors! Cheers, Sherriff
  2. The information is there, try reading the post!
  3. Sherriff

    ArmA 2 PC

Got it on pre-order along with OpFlash2 (delays, delays, delays..) Very much enjoyed Modern Warfare multiplayer, somehow I think this might not be in quite the same vein, but should provide plenty of scope for tactical team play and less snapshot kills. I'm just looking forward to flying/driving the troop transports, I really used to enjoy being a dropship pilot in Planetside, nothing has been made that matched the scale of that again, so i'm hoping for big things from Arma2 and OpFlash2. I can but hope!
  4. An author by the name of Neal Asher writes good action packed Sci-Fi, either 'The Skinner' or 'Gridlinked' is a good start I've enjoyed all the books in the series so far Cheers, Sherriff
  5. I just got a 512MB 8800GT as an upgrade for my old Radeon 1900XT, it's made the world of difference , picked one up for about £125 from overclockers, just had a quick look and this one seems pretty good value : Gigabyte 8800GT Overclocked Cheers, Sherriff
  6. I know you said no to 'Dell', but they did recently buy Alienware who put together some nice systems, they're not cheap, but they will be fast : http://www.alienware.co.uk The Area 51 systems seem to be pretty well specced up Alternatively you could take a look at Wired2Fire who do custom built stuff : http://www.wired2fire.co.uk Even if you don't use them then you'll have an idea of what sort of spec you can get for your moola Cheers, Sherriff
  7. Very interesting technique indeed, i'll be passing that on to a few colleagues to take a look at, cheers Jake Sherriff
  8. Good stuff Leon, glad it's all running well for you and that your times are showing the results of the time spent Also looking forward to starting down the upgrade path once all those bits arrive. Cheers, Sherriff
  9. I used my TT as a daily driver for 2 years, costs got a little prohibitive so I took it off the road and have been pootling around in a Primera for the last year and a bit, the time has come for further modifications though, so it's now taxed, MOT'd, insured and awaiting parts arrival so that work on making it quicker can commence. I'll be back on the road on sunny days and weekends, attending some meets, and occasional jaunts to work and back if I fancy treating myself or putting the bloke in the RX7 who parks near me in his place. Cheers, Sherriff
  10. Seems to be tyrelogic.com now Contact : 0121 707 4554 Cheers, Sherriff
  11. I've found Eurogamer to be a pretty good site, it has good in depth reviews, interviews, previews etc.. Definately worth a look, they don't seem particularly biased towards any one format and often review 'quirky' games which are a bit different from the run of the mill stuff so often released. Cheers, Sherriff
  12. I'm failry certain that Evo magazine had an article on that car a while ago, i'll dig through my back issues and see if I can find which one it was. Cheers, Sherriff
  13. I'd be up for a Northants mini meet, if dates/venues are agreed i'll see if I can make it Cheers, Sherriff
  14. Sherriff
