  1. i really like the new 50 Cent album, shame the speakers in the sup are shit, i put it on in my omega and it sounds so much nicer
  2. got this off another forum. This is really an eye opener! We all know that water is important but I've never seen it written down like this before. WATER 1. 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated. (Likely applies to half world population.) 2. In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it is often mistaken for hunger. 3. Even MILD dehydration will slow down one's metabolism as much as 3%. 4. One glass of water will shut down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100% of the dieters studied in a University of Washington study. 5. Lack of water, the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue. 6. Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of water a day could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers. 7. A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen or on a printed page. 8. Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer by 79%, and one is 50%less likely to develop bladder cancer. Are you drinking the amount of water you should every day? COKE 1. In many states (in the USA) the highway patrol carries two gallons of Coke in the trunk to remove blood from the highway after a car accident. 2. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of coke and it will be gone in two days. 3. To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl and let the "real thing" sit for one hour, then flush clean. The citric acid in Coke removes stains from vitreous china. 4. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: Rub the bumper with a rumpled-up piece of Reynolds Wrap aluminium foil dipped in Coca-Cola. 5. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour a can of Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion. 6. To loosen a rusted bolt: Applying a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola to the rusted bolt for several minutes. 7. To bake a moist ham: Empty a can of Coca-Cola into the baking pan, wrap the ham in aluminium foil, and bake. Thirty minutes before the ham is finished, remove the foil, allowing the drippings to mix with the Coke for sumptuous brown gravy. 8. To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of coke into a load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular cycle. The Coca-Cola will help loosen grease stains. It will also clean road haze from your windshield. FOR YOUR INFORMATION: 1. The active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid. Its pH is 2.8. It will dissolve a nail in about four days. Phosphoric acid also leaches calcium from bones and is a major contributor to the rising increase in osteoporosis. 2. To carry Coca-Cola syrup (the concentrate) the commercial truck must use the Hazardous Material place cards reserved for highly corrosive materials. 3. The distributors of coke have been using it to clean the engines of their trucks for about 20 years! Now the question is, would YOU like a glass of water or coke?
  3. holy shit, thats awesome. ill do it tonight!

  9. thats absolutley blinding mate, but sadly i just reinsured my sup with tesco for £1,200 with 5years NCB!
  10. how much difference does the short shiffter make?
  11. i dont think so mate, garage never said anything to me when i got mine done
  12. halfrauds might have a plug adaptor or somthing for an exsisting model?
  13. i had that unit in my sup when i bought it, its actualy a really good unit, it can hook up to tv units and cd changers, i would have keept it for ever, but sadly the laser got damaged.
  14. yeah the warranty was from a third party so that’s still “valid” its just that the dealer who sold it to me, entered all the details in the back of the warranty booklet telling me when to get it serviced, and it said after 9k miles from purchase date, so I go to get it serviced at the 9k mark, and it needs some bits, so the garage phone the warranty people up and they say its VOID because I didn’t get it serviced at 6k from purchase date. I was a bit confused as the dealer said its 9k. after going to and throw it turns out the dealer was a retard and put the wrong mileage in the book, charged me extra for the warranty in the first place, and has since gone bust so I cant hunt him down and piss in his tea. Happy I am not. as the bill for the bits from the garage and all the work is currently at around 2k at the moment, so that’s 13k for the car, 2k for warranty (which is in fact worthless), 2k for fixing it which should have been covered by the bloody warranty.
  15. I have to disagree, with the majority on this. I took mine out, prepped it, painted it, put it back on and it looks the bollocks. i done it all myself and it cost about £10 as i already had some metallic silver left from my FTO dash.
  16. i hear the plastic they use for the bumpers has a weird reaction to the paint and causes it to fade at different speeds. im not sure tho.
  17. Bobbeh, i got mine about a year and a half ago now
  18. the guy in the garage has tried to sell me a motec EMS, and a hks one, but i wasnt sure what it actualy did. lol. what sort of change would come about from puting somthing like that in my car?
  19. i got ripped off for mine, i paid 15k. it would have been 13k, but they put 2k on for the 3yr warrenty, but since then the fucking dealer went bust. mines at the time had 60,000miles. gold 18s, a mix of veilside and bomex body kit, exhaust. bov, strut brace, suspension. new tyres all round. turbo timer, boost gauge, oil pressure gauge, oil temp gauge, cat 1 alarm and a new stereo. but apparently black 6sp tt with gold wheels are rare. ? there a pic of mine on my avatar.
  20. this is a great post, I now feel totally at ease ordering for you guys. Top stuff
