  1. The adapter somce with dowels pressed in, and the bellhousing bolts to the plate itself. Eric
  2. Outstanding engine note Ed! It was good talking with you yesterday, I am happy that the timing got sorted. Eric
  3. Those pods above have been discontinued.
  4. Remember too that the Supra auto is very much the same, and I've seen those break at 350rwhp. Especially on a hard second gear shift. A six speed would work, but then again you would be one of the first people to do it. Eric
  5. THe issue with the SC430 is that the transmissions can't handle but ~440rwhp without failure. The stock internals can't handle anymore than that. Not to say they both can't be built, but that would depend entirely on your horsepower needs. Eric
  6. Mmmmm... I do like Carlsberg.
  7. Hahaha..yeah, the camera makes it look all sorts of colors. From bright red to almost purple depending on the light conditions. It's a medium red w/ black inserts.
  8. Thanks guys, I appreciate the kind words. The motor seems to love the boost, it'll be leaned on a bit more here shortly.
  9. A few pics from the local meet this last weekend.
  10. Hey, I know that car. Soemwhere, there's good documentation of his build. Eric
  11. Ed, breathe on the throttle and the car launches forward. This is while it still building boost. In traffic, I have to drive like there is an egg under the pedal so as not to fly up the bumper of the car ahead. Ed, you have 11:1CR, so your motor is going to be even mroe responsive!
  12. Oh yeah, the 1500HP isn't acurate. That's the dyno issue, I think. There's about 100ft'lbs more to be had in the midrange I feel, but still at 19psi it's making very good power. Especially since it's running through a Th400.
  13. Thanks mate! The throttle is like hair trigger. Breathe on it and the car launches.
  14. No vids unfortunately. I dropped it off last night and picked it up this evening. Darin did and outstanding job, and he offered up some good advice on where low and miderange response can be improved even further.
  15. Well, let see here. A lot has been said about this build some good, some bad. But Darin from Titan gave the car a little pressure today and it's outstanding! There's more in it no doubt, especially in the mid range, but even still the car pulls great by just rolling your foot forward. The motor was on it's best behavior. Oil pressure was stable, and engine temps were cool. If anyone ever tells you that the Toyota V8's overheat, you tell them that they're a liar. This is through a Th400, 3400 stall, unlocked converter. 2nd gear pulls. Here are the dyno sheets. 9psi low boost: 19psi new boost: More to come:)
  16. I consider our deal complete and to the letter of the deal that was proposed to me, and I stand by my timeline posted. I've said what I have to say on the subject.
  17. False, incorrect, and flat out wrong.. I showed you the wheels before I bought, and you said go for it. You even complimented the wheel choice on Supraforums. Do you honestly believe that I or anyone would purchase wheels for their body man BEFORE running it by them? No sir.. you green lighted those wheels all the way. "Great choice!" you said. More victim nonsense. October 2006, you approach me with a deal to trade my recently dynoed 2jz built longblock + turbo kit for a Supra widebody rolling chassis. November 2006, we made the deal with a 10 week completion time estimate, December 2007, I remove my running 2jz and sell my white Supra, no turning back now, April 2008, STILL no work done and I try to allow you to gracefully back out of the deal. I even embark on the two hour trip to come pick up my wheels (which you approved and encouraged) but you call and say don't worry we'll get it done by July, or August at the latest. I agree but am starting to ge the feeling that all those people who warned me against doing business with you may be right, December 2008, hardly any work done, Christmas comes and goes February 2008, FINLLY I get to pickup the raw shell, but he fenders, hood, hatch, front bumper, rear bumper, left door and right door aren't touched. Lovely October 2008, I bring the car back to you to finally fit the fenders, hood, hatch, front bumper, rear bumper, left door, and right door. Lovely. November 2008, I pick up the car FINALLY two years later and truck it off. Seems like 24 months to me, sir. But no matter because that 10 week time frame was shot to hell long ago anyways. I don't care about your PM's, you know how to make PM's say anything you want them to, but I know how it went down and I know that this car costed me thousands of real (folding) money on top of the work done. Does it matter now? Hell no. Because do you honestly think I would recommend your work without telling them all about how the deal turned south due to you taking two years to complete the job AND all this nonsense your perpetrating now? Let me bring you up to speed. Our deal (the one that you asked for) is complete. It ended a year ago. Now you have what you asked for and I have what I asked for. Here in America, that's called business.
  18. Maybe you should.. see I've met a lot of people like you. Insanely talented, but really, really should be working for someone else. And yes, I know that why you took 24 months to finish the car instead of the quoted two years, it's clear that you wanted it for yourself. But sorry, this is a deal you yourself proposed, and we both agreed on the trade. Remember... you approached me, and there is such a thing as due dillegence. As far as I'm concerned we've completed our agreement a year ago and ther is nothing else to discuss. Good day sir.
  19. Because it's a custom project ordered with custom parts and built with custom labor. As with any corporation in America, there's a no return policy on custom items. This item is no different. That's how business works and being a business owner yourself you should know that.
  20. I'm not sure I understand, but it's your motor to with as you see fit. The offer is out there, though. It's good for as long as the motor is at RSP.
  21. I've offered to buy back the motor and turbo kit at this price and I can transfer the funds today. I've also called and left a message at your number. Thanks, Eric
  22. I'd sooner pull them from Supraforums than my products be accused of what they are being acused of. No matter what I say or do it will never be good enough it seems, so yes, I decided to pull the threads and offer no more dealings with SF. It's my fault for being honest in what it takes to do a build, but I try an disclose both the easy parts and the hurdles to overcome. That's a damn sight more than a lot of other poeple would do. For what it's worth Jamie, I've answered question since 2006 regarding the builds, and even today (this day) take phone calls on it.
  23. Thanks mate, here a short video I took not too long ago if you want to hear it.
