  1. Ha ha must admit - in hindsight, perhaps I over estimated how slow the market was at the moment! But its one less thing I now have to deal with. Now just leaves the whole packing life up and moving thing!!
  2. I appreciate the price comments. It's priced to sell (I've a million and one things to do as it is), this is one less thing to worry about. Jevansio - nope, no single kit. Just wasn't getting the use from the car to justify it! Krister, you have a PM.
  3. Hi all, Due to a transfer at work, I'm moving to London at the end of the month and I'm looking for a quick sale on my Supra. I do very limited miles now (8,000 in the last two years) and I'll probably do even less in London. Car is a 1993, K Reg in red with 72,000 miles on the clock (116,000 kms). I have the certificate from auction showing 100,000 kms, which was two months prior to when I bought it and the car still reads in km's. Supra is a nice, pretty much standard, 6 speed manual. MOT was in October, where I put two brand new tyres on the back and the tax runs out at the end of March. Modifications: - Aftermarket cat back exhaust (not sure what make, but not too loud) - Strut brace - Blitz dumpvalve with hardpipe adapter - later spec 17 inch wheels - later spec grey back lights (from what I've been told) - Toyota double-din cd headunit with TV function (DVD player under the seat but don't know how this works!) - Thatcham approved alarm / immobiliser - Toyota recaro seats - Toyota half yellow, half carbon fibre effect steering wheel Good bits: - Mechanically solid - Turbo's pull hard with no smoke! - No smokey valve stems that can be a problem - Toyota half yellow, half carbon fibre effect steering wheel (depends on taste ) - New rear tyres - Mot till October - New clutch c8,000 miles ago Bad bits: - Front active spoiler intermittently works - Air deflectors around the windows are cracked - could be removed or replaced - Its red, so has the odd pink bit on some of the plastics - Right side upright support of the drivers seat is worn - Toyota half yellow, half carbon fibre effect steering wheel (depends on taste ) Basically, an honest 1993, Jspec, 6 speed Supra TT. Looking for £SOLD as tax is due at the end of the month Car will be going on ebay as well shortly
  4. I already have bids on them, so will have to let the auctions run really
  5. Hi Michael - long time no see! Still around, just not getting much of an opportunity to play with cars anymore!
  6. Currently advertising as a kit - a buyer would really need both. If it doesn't sell though I'll let you know!

  8. Hi guys, Maybe a simple question for some of you, but I'm rubbish at wheels offsets etc!! Will these fit onto a supra well? Size: 8.5x18" ET32 Front 9.5x18" ET32 Rear. PCD 5X114 Thanks Steve
  9. Have you got the passenger side grab handle going?
  10. I recon its not the car, it's is the RWD thing. The first time anyone gets into a high performance rwd car from a fwd or 4wd car it is such a shock. The MR2 forum has the same discussions haha ... who has spun their car etc? Only span my old one once and that was when running in TOTB 3 My supra RZ TT in standard form slides very progressively, much much less grip at the back end though compared to an MR2 turbo and the standard traction control is AWFUL quite frankly. I'd strongly recommend an airfield track day to anybody new to rwd to enable them to get a feel for what happens at the limit of traction. Great fun as well!!
  11. 500hp supra versus 500hp M5 ... providing the supra has some form of traction control (other than the awful standard system) my money's on the supra any day of the week! Physics .. M5 weighs About 1850kgs, Supra weighs about 1600kgs. Torque = acceleration, HP = top speed (in the simplest of forms) Torque, standard M5 384lbs, standard supra 315lbs (500hp one should have much more than this). So, supra has same HP, weighs less and has more torque.
  12. Watching with interest You can do mine next lol
