Cheers guys, thanks for the comments:) . Unfortunately, it was a limited edition 20th anniversary job, so doubt if there'll be an opportunity to get a replacement with the insurance money. Not sure how it all works, but my insurance people say about 2 weeks to get a settlement figure. It's just such a PITA, but then again, can go shopping for a new(ish) bike i guess...

Aye, i agree wiv Bobbeh, that dude in the MX-5 at the ring was wuppin arse left, right and center. The only mod's he'd doen was an induction kit and stiffer suspension - pretty feckin impressive. Infact, come to think of it, most of the real lairy cars at the ring last year were of that ilke (apart from the supras!!! ), i'm talking about mini's, civic's etc. Power to wieght ration plays a big factor ther, it's not just on the straights. I've been toying with getting an MX-5 meself as a back-lane bit of fun. i've driven 'em before and they are fantastic fun, great handling and very assured grip, so dont slag 'em off untill you've tried 'em...

Competizione is actually the correct spelling - molto bravo!! Dont think it came with a hatch or spoiler - frankly looks too nice as it is!!! It was on last years Top Gear calendar, probably my favourite out of the lot...Phwoaar!!!
