  1. Hi TuneR, Thank you for the reply on this. I went ahead with it and got the same one, fits like an absolute charm! Appreciate the response, now we get to enjoy what's rest of the summer! All the best.
  2. Hi all, After trying the search function I only found posts from 2016 as most recent. I'm looking for a child seat for the rear seat as I'm unable to use the front seats. I knew of only the Recaro young sport hero for the rear that fit nicely but that's been discontinued so I was looking for some advice and up to date suggestions. Thanks in advance, Eren.
  3. Spoken to autoglass, waiting on a call back. Apparently she wasn't sure it was a service they offered! I'm around Bristol so a bit to far to transport the car. Thanks though
  4. Hi guys Looking for someone who is able to remove the windows from my car as it's going into paint. Front window, rear quarters and rear window. Car is Bristol based. Thanks all.
  5. Thanks for the reply. Ill double check the earth to rule this out. Thanks for the input and help I had thought this. Is the switch part of the barrel or can this be replaced separately? The key is not in the start position when it starts but it does switch off when I turn the key to the off position. Thank you for this, I thought I'd seen this article already but this is more helpful. I bought another relay just in case. It was used however so I'm not sure if that's also bad. I switched back to my original relay after one start as the problem still persisted after changing. Thank you for your help and replies
  6. Hi guys, I recently had an issue with my starter where it would sometimes try to engage before the key was fully in the start position. This is intermittent and even though it would start every time, occasionally the car would start and then start clicking quite loudly every second or so. I had some starts where it would screech as if it was stuck in the out position too so I have replaced the starter motor with a new one. The clicking after start is still there intermittently and on one start it tried to engage again before the key was in the fully on position. I also tried a new starter relay but the problem was still there. The only constant in all of this (and it may be the world's best coincidence or nothing at all) is that it doesn't seem to happen when the drivers door is open or at least happens much less frequently to be noticed. The car has a toad alarm and immobiliser in case this has any bearing on the issue. Battery has gone flat once although it has been fully charged since and is only a few months old. Searching the forum I found similar issues although none close enough to mine and I only started a new thread as I noticed they were quite old threads. Has anyone had similar issues or have any pointers to something I may be missing? Thanks all, Eren.
  7. Thanks Annabella, makes sense. I'll look into getting that sorted Appreciate that! Thanks for your help with this
  8. Tried to send a PM but I'm not allowed at the moment. Apprarently my limit it 0 per day lol. Maybe because I'm still a new member.
  9. Would you be happy sharing the wiring diagram at all? No worries if not
  10. Thanks so much for the diagram, that was a help. GR was pink in the end somehow! Thanks evinX, managed to get this powered up and folded in and out. It's still slightly loose and moves perhaps 20mm but I think I need to cycle it a few times just to get it fully back in place. Eventually I'd like to get these wired in to a nice switch in the dashboard somewhere discreet if I don't have any luck finding the OEM one.
  11. Hi guys, One of my power folding mirrors (passenger side) has come slightly loose as it has been knocked and presumably come off the motor and needs resetting. Problem is they aren't wired into the dash yet so I can't power them from any OEM switch - has anybody powered these up directly from outside the car in order to reset the motor? I'll attach some photos of the connector and if anybody could point me in the right direction of how to power these up that would be great. Thanks!
  12. Yeah the clearance is still good, the bonnet still closes with no problem after a quick test fit which I'm happy with. There was talk of it potentially hitting the support on the bonnet but no problems found here!
  13. Hey guys, I've just got one of Rad Dan's GTE intake adapter plates that enables you to swap the GE intake to a GTE one. Very impressed by this so far, did some test fits today and the intake sits really nicely and certainly does clean up the top of the engine. My question is; does anybody have any diagrams, photos or write ups of where the original pipes/lines from the GE will now sit on the GTE intake? I know I need to flip the wires for the TPS as this sits on the opposite side as well as using a GTE throttle cable and power steering reservoir. I've taken photos and notes of where they sat on the GE for reference but any advice or input on this would be greatly appreciated! It's on a non VVTI engine and intake. Happy to share photos of the install so far if anyone is interested :) Thanks, Eren.
  14. Thanks so much for the reply and the detailed response, it's been a great help Appreciate your time! Eren.
  15. Thanks for the reply and explanation, appreciate it! I'm glad you said the one closest to the front I don't suppose you know an OEM part number from experience? Thanks again! Eren.
  16. Hi all, Can anyone help me identify this sensor plug please? It's on a 2JZ GE non VVTI. Previous owner had a wideband 02 sensor and was removed, is this for that? It's located just above the alternator. Thanks everyone
  17. Thank you for the welcome Thanks! Hopefully I don't disappoint Thanks for the welcome and the luck, I may need it! Thanks for the welcome
  18. Thanks for the warm welcome! Hadn't thought about creating a build thread, I may just do that. I am documenting it on Instagram, I set up a page with the same name as my username but on here I will get a chance to explain some more things in depth and upload some more photos. Thanks for the welcome plans at the moment is using the engine and gearbox I have which is an NA-T and a W58. That will get it in a position I can run it in, find any niggles and get used to it and then eventually I will be looking to upgrade the turbo to something a bit nicer and consider an upgrade to a 6 speed. I know the options are a few and it's still a bit of an open ended question at the moment. Body wise I will be going for the clean modified look, I've always liked the Ridox bumper and side skirts with OEM spats and spoiler. I (think) I've decided on a colour after having one test spray of a different colour not wow me like I thought it would - so the next one is a Toyota factory colour and I shall say no more in the attempt to keep some mystery Thanks for the welcome! I will certainly upload some photos as soon as I get a chance, I will take some updated photos with where I am on the build now as a short progress story. The shell is straight and I did pay a very very reasonable price for it considering what the asking price is at the moment. I paid about half of the asking price today!
  19. Hey everyone, I'm Eren and just joined the forum. I've not long ago got myself a rolling shell and with the help of some good friends have begun the build. Learning a lot as I go along but it's great fun! First project like this and first JDM car so it's all new to me having come from the VW/Audi ownership world. It's been the dream to own a Supra since I was about 10, now quite a few years later it's happened although I never expected to have to build one from the ground up! Looking forward to getting to know the forums throughout the build, I find myself on here most days looking for info so I thought it was time to join and say a general thanks so far to those threads that have helped. All the best, Eren.
