  1. I would still run the aluminum compressor wheels. Aluminum is lighter than Titanium. Why would you go to a heavier metal when aluminum does the job just fine? It looks like those compressor wheels are the same thickness as regular aluminum wheels. A Ti wheel that is the same thickness as a Al wheel will be heavier.
  2. Level Surface. Car warm. Gear selector in Neutral. Check Dipstick .
  3. CP Pistons are only 313grams per piston. Very light, VERY STRONG, and super high quality. That's what we use in all of our stage 3 built engines. I would definately upgrade the rods. That's the first to go on the supra block. The stock pistons are actually very strong. They are just extremely heavy. Depending on RWHP goals... Pauter for lower numbers and Carillo for power upwards of 1500hp!
  4. We at Boost Logic built the entire vehicle from the ground up. To clear up some arguments. The reason why Mr. Peter Blach went with the electric fan setup was to clean up his engine bay. It was not for any other reason. He was wanting to stick with the stock fan/radiator setup, but after a lot of convincing, i finally got him to go with the Fluidyne and electric fans due to the fact that it cleaned up his engine bay. I do not recommend the fluidyne/electric fan setup if you are going to be roadracing. The stock fluidyne/stock fan setup is better and more RELIABLE. A comparison: 4 Row Greddy intercooler on stock radiator/electric fans. AC On. The car overheats on a 90F degree day sitting in traffic 4 Row Greddy intercooler on stock radiator/stock fan. AC On. Car does fine and the AC even cools decently on a 90F degree day sitting in traffic. BTW Mark, we are going to be making a couple passes at the track soon:cool:
  5. The reason why Dusty pushes PHR is because he is part of PHR. LOL. They're in the same building as well Not to be partial or anything... but we have a SUPERIOR header compared to the HKS manifod and we actually will warranty our products. We haven't had to though, but we are definately here to help the customer. Our header is constructed of 14 gauge 321SS with 1/2" Thick 321SS Flanges. I'm not saying your PHR is not a nice kit... It's just that we entered the market to help advance Supra turbo kits in the correct direction while others are trying to beat us down with only their marketing and not by improving their kit; either pricewise or quality wise. Our mandrel bent Aluminum Piping has an anti heat anodizing. You can weld on one end for minutes and hold the other end with no problems =) Tested with my own hands You can choose either the 2000F Black coating or the Polished silver coating. We actually get our stuff coated at the same place, Performance Coatings, as PHR. The coating place is also located in Texas. Supraguy: Are you Jason? Your transmission just got finished today. It is being shipped out tomorrow. You will probably see it within a week. Why do you say our manifold will look like crap??? I don't understand your statement. What is your reasoning behind this.
  6. Dude, Your -10 oil drain hose is the wrong direction!! The 45 degree is supposed to be connected to the turbo. The straight portion is connected to the oil pan. Pics look great =)
  7. great to hear that!! =) Remember to take lots of pics The meth stuff is coming!!
  8. Just stick with the Type TIV from toyota. It's only $~30 for a box of 12, 1 quart bottles.
  9. Hi. Terry and Mark. This is Kean from BL =) Randy told me about the website so i was just browsing around and checking it out.
  10. I would reccomend Type T IV. This is what we use in our built transmissions and have had no problems so far.
